Zyn Icy Mint (Nicotine Pouches) - Review. 10 October 2025.

Today, we have another foreign Zyn product to check out!  This is, as they call it on TikTok, an "exotic Zyn" product.  I found this one in the UK, via TheSnusLife.com.  Today we have Zyn Icy Mint!  The flavor description for this one says "A cooling taste of eucalyptus and menthol".  This one is very similar to one I've had before.  If you had Zyn Deep Freeze before (or its other versions also made by Swedish Match Volt Deep Freeze and Thunder Deep Freeze), this one is just like those.  But, for the UK market this one is called "Icy Mint".  Each can weighs 14.7g and has 21 pouches, at 0.7g each.  The nicotine content on Strong is 13.57mg/g, or 9.5mg/pouch.  The XX-Strong one sits at 17.85mg/g, or 12.5mg/pouch.

Let's open a can, pop in a pouch, and give these a try!  Opening up the can, the aroma is a bold, present, icy aroma of menthol.  I'm not the biggest fan of menthol usually.  In terms of mint, I prefer spearmint, then peppermint.  Menthol is really only a flavor I go for when I have a cold.  It's not super sweet, but boy is it icy!  The pouch is slim, soft, and moderately moist.  It has a nice feel against the gum, and a strong cooling presence.  In the flavor profile, it's menthol.  Straight up, icy, cold, in your face menthol.  In the strength department, the "Strong" one is just 9.5mg/pouch, so to me it feels just a little above the regular strength mark.  The "XX-Strong" one sits at 12.5mg/pouch, and has a pretty strong kick to it.  It's not quite at the extra strong level, but just a little between strong and extra strong.  In the flavor longevity, these seem to hover between the 35-40 minute mark.  It stays icy for quite a while though, if you like that sort of thing!

Rating and Final Thoughts

I will say, these aren't necessarily for me.  I'm not the biggest fan of menthol.  The Strong one sits at 3/5, and the XX-Strong one sits at 2.92/5.  If you like menthol, I suppose you'll like these, but they aren't exactly my cup of tea.  But, I'll throw them in the freezer and pull them out next time I have a cold!
