BAT Launches Velo Shift - 16 September 2025.

Today, BAT in Sweden has launched their new Velo Shift line.  I noticed this morning that the Snusbolaget e-store in Sweden now has the entire lineup available.  This new line is an extension of the traditional Velo series, and is said to be "reshaping pouches", with a unique design, shaped for comfort.  Velo originally started out as Lyft back in 2019, and then would become Velo in 2020.  Velo would eventually become more popular worldwide, including the Velo Plus line that has swept the US this year.  So, what exactly is Velo Shift?  Let's continue onward and find out!

Reshaping The Original

This new line is set to "reshape the original".  The can is recyclable, and made of 90% bioplastic.  The new flavors yield either a hot or cool sensation depending on which product you use.  They also have adopted a new hexagon shape with their cans, which they say is more "ergonomical".  I will say, it is a rather interesting look, that's for sure.  And quite unique from a lot of what else is on the market.

The New Pouch

This is certainly an interesting new look to the pouch.  I haven't put one in my lip yet, but it has a new design to it.  They say it's softer, and has a better fit in the lip.  I'm curious to see how that translates to mouthfeel.  But it is certainly a more interesting look than most traditional pouches.  There are also quite a few new flavors!

And there you have it, Velo Shift is here!  Some of the flavors I do find myself curious about, especially the hot ones.  I enjoy a spicy taste!  As of now, these are only available on Snusbolaget from what I've seen.  Which means these will be very hard to get in the US, since they're also red-listed by the FDA.  So, if I can track some down I'll do a review.  But for now, I did want to put out an article about this.  We shall see if the market follows suit and others adopt this shape and format at some point.  It shall be interesting!
