Lyft Lime (Nicotine Pouches) - Review (Discontinued). 30 December 2019.

Earlier this year, I reviewed the Lyft Lime Strong (Nicotine Pouches). I got some of this stuff around the same time, but never got around to reviewing it until now.  Earlier today, I was trying to find a snus that paired with an IPA, and found this in my freezer and said, "Oh, I probably should review this one." If you're not familiar with Lyft, it is a nicotine pouch line from Fiedler and Lundgren, the makers of Epok. When it comes to this one, the flavor description says, "LYFT Lime Slim All White portions brings the taste of zesty lime and regular strength level of nicotine."  This product comes in a 16.8 gram can with 24 portions for 0.7 gram portions. The nicotine content is 8.5mg/g (0.85%) for 5.95mg/portion.

If you're not familiar with nicotine pouches, I'll explain. These are products that contain nicotine, but no tobacco. In the case of Lyft, these have eucalyptus and pine fiber in them instead of tobacco. These are a good alternative for people who may want to quit smoking, or tobacco in general, but not nicotine.  This picture shows a look at what is inside the pouch itself.  Here you see the cans, portions, and even what is inside the pouch, and can see that it looks similar to regular snus, except the portions and the material inside the portions are all white.  Everything else about the experience is similar to regular snus.

When you open the can, the aroma that comes through is a tart, mildly sweet smell of lime. The portions are slim, soft, and feel great under the lip. The citrusy flavor of lime in this one is very present, and comes through in a lightly tart/lightly sweet way. It's a really nice flavor, and goes great with a beer! The nicotine level feels to be about regular strength, and the flavor lasts around 45-50 minutes on average!  When it comes to nicotine pouches, most of them seem to be of the mint flavor profile.  It's nice to see something that is more on the side of citrus than mint.  If you're into nicotine pouches, this would be a good one to check out if you want something different!
