Nordic Spirit Max Nicotine Pouches (2026 Edition) - Review. 1 July 2026.

It appears as though the Nordic Spirit line from Sweden goes away and comes back every few years, because now there seems to be a new edition.  This line is made by Nordic Snus in Sweden, the makers of my favorites LD and Vårgårda!  I tried Nordic Spirit for the first time in 2018, then when it relaunched in 2019, then when it re-re-launched again (as a limited edition?) in 2025, and now we have some new cans to check out!  We have three different flavors to check out today, so this will be a fun one.  The product weighs in at 14g, with 20 pouches per can.  Each pouch weighs 0.7g each.  The Max strength (6 Dot level) sits at 16.8mg/pouch.  This, in Sweden terms, would be "Extra Stark/Strong".  

Commonalities:

The Pouch - The pouches are slim, and quite soft.  They have a nice moisture amount to them and feel quite comfortable in the lip, and against the gum.

The Nicotine Strength - These are quite strong, sitting at 16.8mg/pouch.  It firmly delivers at the extra strong level.

The Flavor Longevity - These all seem to have a lifespan of about 40-45 minutes, on average.

Now, let's review these!

Nordic Spirit Raspberry Max

Flavor Description:  "The sweet, tangy flavour of raspberry brings a bright, fruity alternative to our mint flavours".

My Review:  This one has quite a lovely aroma of raspberry to it.  It's smooth, sweet, and present.  In the flavor profile, the raspberry taste is really nice.  It's not too sweet, and has a slightly tart nature.  It's very enjoyable, and very well done.

Nordic Spirit Icy Peppermint Max

Flavor Description:  "Icy coolness with a peppermint punch for an bold new flavour experience".

My Review:  In the aroma, this one has a present, icy mint character to it.  It's lightly sweet, and seems to be mostly peppermint but perhaps with a hint of menthol.  In the flavor, it's a pretty refreshing taste of mint.  The peppermint flavor is present, and icy.  Light tones of menthol come through in the background.  It's a pretty present mint taste, but it's not overly sweet, which is nice.

Nordic Spirit Jalapeño Lime Max

Flavor Description:  "This is a layered flavour that goes beyond simple heat. Jalapeño gives the pouch its green pepper profile, with a spicy note. This pouch brings to mind the taste of fresh jalapeño peppers, rounded with a zesty note of juicy, tangy lime for a lively flavour combination".

My Review:  Ever since Loop Jalapeño Lime launched in 2020, I've been perhaps the biggest cheerleader of this flavor.  It's been nice to see others launch this flavor, such as Velo (Sweden), and Zone (USA).  Now, Nordic Spirit is making a version of it.  The aroma of pepper is quite strong.  When I open it in my room, Mrs. Snubie can smell it from across the room.  In the aroma, it has a very powerful jalapeño aroma to it.  It even has some nice burn in the lip.  In this one, the jalapeño flavor is very forward, with the lime coming through in the background as a hint.  It has a very peppery type of flavor to it.  It's incredibly tasty.

Rating and Final Thoughts

These were quite enjoyable in flavor, but a bit strong for me to use regularly.  I imagine those who like really strong products are going to enjoy this one.  Jalapeño Lime was the best one, I gave it a 3.67/5.  Raspberry after that, at 3.42/5.  Icy Peppermint wasn't for me, I gave it a 3.25/5.  But, I think mint lovers are going to be quite pleased with it!  For me, I think the lower strength Nordic Spirit products are better, but high octane users may dig this lineup.
