Loop Jalapeño Lime Strong (Nicotine Pouches) - Review. 4 May 2020.

Today we're talking about a product from a brand new company in Sweden called Another Snus Factory. And yes, their first products are nicotine pouches and not snus. This is a product in their Loop Nicotine Pouches lineup.  Meet Loop Jalapeño Lime (Strong)!  If you're not familiar with nicotine pouches, these are products that are like snus but with one difference:  these contain plant fibers instead of tobacco.  They're a good alternative for people who may want to quit tobacco, but not give up nicotine!  The flavor description for this one says, "A spicy taste of green chili and fresh lime".  Each can weighs 15g and has 24 portions, for 0.63g portions.  The nicotine content is 15mg/g (1.5%), which breaks down to 9.45mg/portion.  I was really excited to try this one because the only jalapeño product I've had in recent memory is Thunder Kickass from back in 2015.

When you open the can, the aroma that greets you is a present green chili smell with a hint of lime.  The portions are slim, moderately soft, and quite comfortable under the lip. They're a little bit dryer to the touch than others I've had so far; they remind me a little of the Nordic Spirit nicotine pouches.  They also have a mild burn when you put one under the lip.  The flavor is quite unique.  It has a present green chili flavor with a little spice to it.  In the background, there's a mild touch of lime which compliments the spicy flavor of the chili.  It's a really interesting flavor.  The nicotine feels to be a little above the regular strength level, and the flavor lasts up to about 40-45 minutes, on average.

Rating and Final Thoughts

This one is a pretty solid nicotine pouch, so it rated at 3.25 out of 5 for me.  That may sound low, but I don't really use nicotine pouches.  Usually anything at a 3 or above for me is a really good score.  If you like nicotine pouches, though, you should check this one out.  It's quite unique and has a pretty tasty flavor profile to it!
