Opening the can, the lime aroma comes through pretty clearly. It's tart, and not overly sweet, which is nice. I pick up a little chili pepper in the background, as well. The pouches are a little small in size, which is a bummer. They're slightly dry, and moderately soft. I also get a little burn in the lip, which I enjoy. The flavor is really top notch. My fear was that it was going to be too sweet, which doesn't seem to be the case here! The lime flavor is tart, with just a little sweetness. The chili pepper flavor is mild, and works really well with the tart taste of lime. In the strength, the 9mg feels to be at the regular level, and does have a pretty quick delivery to it. The flavor, on average, lasts about 30-40 minutes.
Rating and Final Thoughts
In the end, this one sits at 3.58/5. A pretty high score for a US market product. I really enjoy the flavor, and think it's probably one of the tastiest pouches in the US. My only issue with it is really the pouch. The pouch is a little smaller than I like, and I wish it was a bit more moist. But the rest is pretty enjoyable. I look forward to this one expanding and more people in the US getting to try this taste out!

its not menthol like their citrus is it? I tried zone citrus and it had a gross menthol to it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Chad for pushing this oddly satisfying flavor combo!! Even if you do not like spicy food, give it a try (very little burn). I was hesitant to try it also but am very glad that I did. I love General Snus mint but it has gotten hard to find and expensive when you do. I agree, this is probably one of the best pouches in North America. There was a viral trend sometime back saying you should snort a pinch of black pepper to curb the craving to smoke. I tried it once and only once so you do not have to (it will clear your nostrils but that's about it). Zone Jalapeño Lime, on the other hand, provides much better results (perhaps a little pepper combined with nicotine is the real key to quit smoking)...
ReplyDeleteIt really grows on you!
