Stockholm White (Nicotine Pouches) - Review. 26 June 2021.

I've been seeing these Stockholm White products on Instagram lately, and have been really curious to try them out.  Not just because the can designs are super sleek, but because some of the flavors sounded pretty interesting.  Some of them also sounded familiar, like Apple & Wintergreen.  When I was spending time with this line, I noticed some of the products felt like I had them before, and then it dawned on me - they reminded me a lot of the Orangeman Nicotine Pouches I reviewed not too long ago.  I suspect they're made by the same manufacturer but private labeled for another company.  That's really no big deal if so, it happens all the time.  And those Orangeman products were pretty good, so good on them.  In this review, I'll be covering 5 of these Stockholm White products, so let's check them out!

First, here's their description of the product line:  "Even old and beloved things sometimes need to be reformed. Stockholm White is sprung out of the Swedish traditional snus - meaning our focus remains on the craftsmanship behind the product. Through a combination of new technologies and traditional techniques we’re proud to present our brand new Stockholm White."

Stockholm White Nicotine Pouches:
Apple & Wintergreen 23

Stockholm White Nicotine Pouches:
Apple & Wintergreen 23
The Review:

When you open the can, the first thing you'll pick up is the wintergreen.  Right behind it is a hint of apple.  It smells a little like root beer, honestly.  The portions are light in weight, soft, with a moderate amount of moisture.  The flavor is interesting, it reminds me a lot of root beer.  The wintergreen is up front, and is present, and lightly sweet.  The apple is in the background, and is pretty mild.  In terms of nicotine, it feels about half the regular strength level, and the flavor lasts about 40-45 minutes, on average.  This one reminds me a lot of the Orangeman Apple Wintergreen product, so if you've had that one, this one may be familiar.

Stockholm White Nicotine Pouches:
Menthol 46

Stockholm White Nicotine Pouches:
Menthol 46
The Review:

This one reminds me a lot of the Orangeman Menthol Crush nicotine pouch I had not too long ago.  The aroma is a pretty balanced, sweet aroma of menthol and mint.  The portions are soft, with a moderate moisture amount, and a nice cooling presence in the lip.  In the flavor, it's a pretty mild, balanced taste of mint and menthol.  It's fresh, with a light sweetness to it.  The flavor lasts about 40-45 minutes on average, and the strength feels about half the regular strength mark.

Stockholm White Nicotine Pouches:
Licorice Root 45

Flavor Description:

Nicotine Strength:  4mg (not sure if that's per portion or mg/g)

Stockholm White Nicotine Pouches:
Licorice Root 45
The Review:

This is a new flavor that I didn't have in the Orangeman product line.  The aroma is a present, straightforward smell of black licorice.  The portions are slim, soft, and semi-moist.  The flavor is pretty tasty.  It's a present taste of black licorice.  It's mild, and not overly sweet.  The strength feels about half the regular strength mark, and the flavor lasts about 40-45 minutes on average.

Stockholm White Nicotine Pouches:
Arctic Menthol 12

Flavor Description:
Can Contents:  14g / 21-24 portions per can / 0.5g each
Nicotine Strength:  4mg (not sure if that's per portion or mg/g)

Stockholm White Nicotine Pouches:
Arctic Menthol 12
The Review:

This one reminds me a lot of the Orangeman Arctic Tea one I had before.  It's a really tasty nicotine pouch, with a flavor that you don't encounter very often:  Earl Grey tea!  In the aroma, you pick up pepper, menthol, and a nice presence of Earl Grey.  The portions are slim, moderately moist, and pretty soft in the lip.  The flavor is really nice, and quite unique.  The Earl Grey tea flavor comes through nicely with a mix of tea and bergamot.  It's slightly peppery, with hints of menthol in the background.  The nicotine feels about half regular strength, and the flavor lasts about 40-45 minutes on average.

Stockholm White Nicotine Pouches:
Apple & Orange 33

Flavor Description:
Can Contents:  14g / 21-24 portions per can / 0.5g each
Nicotine Strength:  4mg (not sure if that's per portion or mg/g)

Stockholm White Nicotine Pouches:
Apple & Orange 33
The Review:

In the aroma of this one, I pick up a tart smell of orange with a little apple in the background.  The pouches are slim, soft to the touch, moderately moist, and pretty comfortable under the lip.  In the flavor, it's pretty balanced.  The orange and apple pair really well together.  I pick up the tart orange first, with the apple right behind it!  In terms of strength, it feels, like the others, to be about half the regular strength mark.  The flavor longevity, on average, is about 40-45 minutes.

Rating and Final Thoughts

In the end, these were pretty decent nicotine pouches.  Menthol came in at 2.92/5, Wintergreen at 3.08/5, Apple/Orange at 3.08/5, Licorice at 3.25/5, and Arctic at 3.42/5.  The Arctic one was my favorite because nicotine pouches don't usually capture the bergamot flavor well, but that one did.  If you've had the Orangeman products before, you know what to expect with the quality.  This brand is pretty solid, with some nice flavors, and I think people who dig nicotine pouches will probably enjoy these.

Comments

  1. I tried their Arctic Menthol earlier this week and it was truly amazing - I have not had the opportunity to try out any of their other flavours yet, however I am very much looking forward to! As you say yourself, they reminded me about OrangeMan's products.
