Velo Plus Dragon Fruit (Nicotine Pouches) - Review. 20 May 2025.

The Velo Plus line launched back in 2024 (I reviewed it in 2025), and was a much needed update to the old Velo Mini Dry.  I had another flavor of theirs recently, Velo Smooth, as well.  This one, Dragon Fruit, originally launched with the first batch, but was exclusive to certain stores.  It wasn't available here in Arkansas, but I just recently found it in a gas station so it seems to have expanded beyond it's test market.  This one is said to have "A rich, dark, exotic fruit flavor".  Each can weighs in at 10.6g and has 20 pouches, for 0.53g each.  The nicotine content on this one is 6mg, which I believe is per pouch.  Velo Plus also comes in 9mg, which I usually buy for review.  But this one I could only find in 6mg.  Now, let's get into the review and try it out!

Opening the can, a fruity, berry smell comes through.  It's lightly sweet, and gentle.  The pouches are slim, and semi-moist.  They have a soft feel, and are comfortable against the gum.  The fruity flavor on this one is pretty decent.  It's gentle, and mild in nature.  It's not weak, but not bold.  The fruity flavor is a gentle berry taste.  It's slightly sweet, and slightly tangy.  The sweetness isn't overdone, which is nice.  The nicotine strength on this one, at 6mg, is pretty light.  I feel a little from it, but not much.  I'm more partial to the 9mg strength.  The flavor, on average, lasts about 30-40 minutes, which is comparable to other Velo Plus products.

Rating and Final Thoughts

I rated this one at 3.29/5.  For comparison, I rated Wild Berry at 3.46/5.  I like this one, but I think Wild Berry had a little better flavor to it.  Both are good, though.  This one has a pretty decent flavor to it.  If you like fruity tastes, I think you'll enjoy this one.  The whole Velo Plus line is solid, and is probably the highest quality nicotine pouch line in the US.
