Zyn Black Cherry (Slim) Nicotine Pouches - Review. 13 January 2025.

It's been a few years since I've had the Zyn Black Cherry Mini Dry pouches.  I was recently browsing Drip Flavors, and saw they had a Black Cherry Slim.  I was concerned this might be a fake, but after doing some research, it appears to be a South African Zyn product.  I've also noted it available in the UK in the past, as well.  So, this is a real Zyn product, and one that was actually new to me.  Pretty interesting stuff!  The flavor description for this one says it has "a taste of ripe cherry".  Each can weighs 13.6g and has 20 pouches at 0.68g each.  The nicotine content is 16.17mg/g, which breaks down to just 11mg per pouch.  Now, let's dive into it and check this one out!

Opening the can, the aroma of this one is quite fantastic.  I pick up a beautiful, sweet aroma of cherry.  The pouches are quite nice.  These are vastly better than the mini dry Zyn pouches.  They're slim, soft, moist, and feel great under the upper lip.  The flavor has a nice presence to it.  It comes on pretty quickly when I put a pouch in.  The flavor profile is definitely cherry.  It's sweet, but not overly sweet.  But the black cherry flavor comes across in a pretty nice way.  The nicotine strength on this one is 11mg/g, which puts it just a hair above that regular strength level.  It has a pretty comfortable release to it, and a nice feel.  In the flavor longevity, I find the taste lasts between 30 and 40 minutes, on average.

Rating and Final Thoughts

I was pretty impressed with this one.  It was vastly better than the mini dry Zyn Black Cherry.  It had much more flavor presence, and a way more comfortable pouch.  I put this one right at 3.5/5.  It's a great pouch.  Honestly, if this ever came to the US it would be one of the best products for sale here.
