Cuba Ninja (Nicotine Pouches) - Review. 17 November 2025.

It's been quite a lot of years since I've had Cuba the last time.  I've had a lot of requests for Cuba products, and I generally don't mess with them because of how strong some of their stuff is.  I reviewed some of the White Line products today, which sit at about 10mg/pouch.  I saw these were Black, and I was concerned they might be strong, but in actuality this Ninja series is just 15.6mg/pouch.  So not bad!  In regards to the contents, each can weighs 13 grams.  The can says there are 25 pouches in each can (which is a lot!).  That means each pouch weighs just 0.52g each.  The nicotine content is 30mg/g in total, which breaks down to just 15.6mg/pouch.  Before we get into the reviews and talk about the flavors, so as not to be redundant, let me discuss what they have in common.

Cuba Commonalities
The Pouch / Mouthfeel - The pouches are slim, and lighter in weight than regular Cuba.  They're soft, and semi-moist.  Under the lip I find them to have a nice mouthfeel.
The Nicotine Release - These feel quite strong.  To me, I'd place them at the extra strong level.  And, they hit pretty quickly.
The Flavor Longevity - The flavor longevity seems to hover between 30-40 minutes per pouch.

Now, let's see how they taste!

Cuba Ninja:  Strawberry

Flavor Description:  "A sweet flavor of strawberries".

My Review:  Opening the can, I pick up a menthol smell, along with a lightly sweet, creamy aroma of strawberry.  The strawberry taste is smooth, and gentle.  It does have a light creamy nature to it, along with a subtle, sweet tone of menthol.

Cuba Ninja:  Pina Colada

Flavor Description:  "A tangy and smooth pineapple and coconut flavor".

My Review:  When I open the can, a powerful menthol aroma comes through.  I then detect some pineapple, along with hints of coconut.  In the flavor, the pineapple and coconut flavors are balanced out with gentle tones of menthol.  It's tropical, and lightly sweet in nature.

Cuba Ninja:  Orange

Flavor Description:  "A powerful and sweet taste of orange".

My Review:  In the aroma, a present aroma of menthol jumps out at me.  Behind it, a tart, present aroma of orange.  In the flavor profile, the orange taste is present, and tangy.  There are also some subtle mentholated notes behind it.

Cuba Ninja:  Mint Fresh

Flavor Description:  "A cooling mint flavor".

My Review:  Opening the can, I pick up a gentle tone of peppermint along with some tones of menthol.  It's not overly sweet in aroma, or in taste.  In the flavor profile, I pick up a gentle mint character.  The peppermint and menthol pair well together, and aren't overly sweet.

Cuba Ninja:  Ice Cool

Flavor Description:  "An ice cool taste of mint".

My Review:  In the aroma there is a bold, powerful aroma of menthol.  It's not overly sweet, either.  The flavor is much like the aroma, a powerful, present aroma of menthol.  There's a light sweetness to it, but it's not overdone.  This one is less sweet than the previous one.

Cuba Ninja:  Energy

Flavor Description:  "A taste of energy drink".

My Review:  As an avid Red Bull enthusiast, I like this one a lot.  In the aroma, it smells just like a can of energy drink.  But, with menthol in the aroma and in the flavor.  In the taste, the tart, tangy, classic taste of energy drink.  It also pairs great with a morning Red Bull.  Tasty stuff!

Cuba Ninja:  Coconut

Flavor Description:  "Sweet, creamy coconut".

My Review:  In the aroma, this one has a nice coconut presence.  More than I noticed with the Pina Colada one.  Also, of course, menthol.  I get it in the aroma and in the flavor.  The coconut flavor is present, tropical, and semi-sweet.  It's pretty good stuff.

Cuba Ninja:  Bubble Gum

Flavor Description:  "A sweet taste of bubble gum".

My Review:  The Bubblegum flavor is one I've crossed here and there in nicotine pouches.  I had one in the Björn series, the Iceberg series, the Kurwa series, and the Zeus series.  It's an interesting taste.  In the aroma, the bubble gum flavor is present, along with some subtle tones of menthol.  It's sweet, but not too in your face sweet.  In the flavor, the classic taste of pink bubble gum.  Alongside it, some tones of menthol, as well.  It's a pretty interesting flavor, that's for sure.

Rating and Final Thoughts

In the end, these averaged between 2.58 and 3.08 out of 5.  The scores would have been a bit higher if they weren't so strong.  I found these to be a little more strong than I personally prefer.  But, taste-wise, a few stood out to me.  Energy and Orange were probably my two favorites of the bunch.  If I had to suggest two flavors, I'd say those are the better ones.  If you're looking for something strong though, I think you'll enjoy those!
