Rogue Tabac (Nicotine Pouches) - Review. 1 October 2025.

It's been many, many years since I've had Rogue.  I wasn't the biggest fan of it last time, but I saw they had a tobacco inspired flavor now, so I was curious to try it out.  I haven't encountered many tobacco inspired nicotine pouch flavors over the years that are that great, so my hopes weren't exactly that high for this one.  But, I never pass up on trying something that isn't mint, so I figured why not, let's give this one a go!  The flavor description for this one says "A dark, aromatic flavor".  Each can weighs 13.5g and has 20 pouches, at just 0.675g each.  The nicotine content is 8.88mg/g in total, which breaks down to just 6mg/pouch, as the can notes.  Now, let's crack this lid and see what we have today.

When I opened the can, I was immediately impressed.  I've been reviewing the nicotine pouch category for many years, and this is one of the first times I've been immediately surprised and impressed.  This product smells very much like an American dip product.  I'm thinking more of the natural styles.  I pick up a rich, smoky tobacco essence along with subtle notes of wood.  The pouches I'm still not the biggest fan of.  They're super dry and barely full.  They aren't super comfortable under the lip, either.  The flavor on this one is quite good.  Especially if you like American dip.  It's smoky, it's woodsy, and is very much tobacco inspired.  It's really tasty.  In the strength, it's quite low.  At 6mg/pouch I don't feel a ton, but I do notice a little effect.  The flavor doesn't last a super long time, usually only hanging out about 30 minutes or so.

Rating and Final Thoughts

In the end, this one rated at 3.375/5 for me.  But I do want to note the important part, the flavor got a 4/5, which for a nicotine pouch is an incredibly high score for me.  I found myself very, very impressed with this one.  The pouch is terrible, and it doesn't have a lot of nicotine to it, but if you're looking for something that's tobacco-free but actually has a tobacco inspired flavor, this is one you're going to want to try out sometime.
