Altria Puts ON! Plus Online - Now Available (US Market). 14 October 2025.

UPDATE:  I've now tried these.  You can find my text review here, and my video review here!

Today, on OnNicotine.com, it appears as though Altria has launched the On! Plus nicotine pouches in the US.  They're saying these are the "softest pouch on the planet".  I'll touch more on that later.  I did a video on this back in August, but Altria basically said "We turned in our PMTA, the FDA didn't meet their guideline, so we're launching".  That's pretty metal.  So, what makes these so special?

ON! Plus:  The Pouch

These are some of the softest pouches I've ever had.  I know some people call Zyn "lip pillows", which is strange, because Zyn is so dry and stiff.  But these are truly soft.  If you check out this video, I show you the pouch up close.  Yes, it is stretchy.  Why?  I'm not entirely sure.  It's interesting.  But, the main takeaway is the Nicosilk material.  It is incredibly soft.  Truly like a "lip pillow" to use the lingo of our times.  It doesn't have corners or edges, so it doesn't have any of that irritation that you can come sometimes get with a pouch.  On! Plus has launched in three flavors, let's check them out.

ON! Plus:  Wintergreen

Flavor Description:  "Bold wintergreen with cooling sensation".

My Notes:  A standard, classic American flavor.  I'm curious how it tastes.  Most American wintergreen products are, as I've come to call them, "mintergreen".  Why?  Because they're way too minty.  Let's see how close this one tastes to real wintergreen.

ON! Plus:  Tobacco Flavor

Flavor Description:  "Classic tobacco taste".

My Notes:  This flavor is so hit and miss.  Sometimes it's close to tobacco.  Sometimes it is way, way off.  This is the one I'm the most curious to try out, to see which recipe they went with.

ON! Plus:  Mint

Flavor Description:  "Sweet, spearmint and peppermint complex".

My Notes:  Of course, the standard.  You already knew they were going to launch a mint flavor.  It is unavoidable!

ON! Plus:  The Strengths

For this line, they skipped the low strength level (3mg), and went with 6, 9, and 12mg.  I think this is a better decision, honestly, and covers the strengths most people use.

ON! Plus is here!

It will be interesting to see what impact this has on the market.  The pouches are great, now I'm just curious to see how they taste.  It looks like you can order them on their site, with a few shipping restrictions.  My state isn't included, so I'll begin to work my Snubie magic and see how far I have to travel to track these down.  Once I have my hands on them, I'll do a review!
