NOAT Wintergreen (Nicotine Pouches) - Review. 7 August 2025.

At the end of June, I reviewed the NOAT Nicotine Pouches initial lineup.  Now, we have three new flavors that have just popped up:  Nothing, Matcha, and Wintergreen.  NOAT is a pretty intriguing line of nicotine pouches made in Sweden.  When the NOAT team started out, they had four important focus areas:  formulas, mouthfeel, sustainability, and discretion.  They saw a few problems that they wanted to improve with modern nicotine pouches:  shady additives, the high pH, the intense burn, and the chemical taste.  From there, they created the line that we will be discussing today - NOAT!

In NOAT, the box these come in is made of recyclable paper.  The pouches themselves are made without microplastics and have a minimal burn to them.  They also have less pH.  The pH of NOAT actually matches the pH of your mouth.  In the contents, they use food grade ingredients, as well as oat fiber.  They say the oat fiber has a better flavor release of flavor to it.  In the flavor, they say it has an "extended release" and can last up to 60 minutes.  Talking about NOAT Wintergreen, the flavor description says "Menthol and mint with a hint of nostalgia".  Each box contains 10g of pouches.  You get 20 pouches per box, at 0.5g each.  The nicotine strength on this one is 7mg/pouch, or regular strength.  Now, time for a review!

Wintergreen is an interesting one.  Every company has their own take on it, so I was curious to see NOAT's interpretation.  In the aroma, I pick up a present tone of menthol, along with subtle notes of evergreen, pine, and wintergreen.  Under the lip, the pouch is smaller in size, but soft, and semi-moist.  It has a very nice feel against the gum, with no burn to speak of.  I get a little bit of a cooling presence in the lip.  In the flavor, it's interesting.  I pick up a mild taste of pine, some evergreen notes, and some menthol tones.  It's outdoorsy in nature, and fresh.  The nicotine strength feels about regular, and has a nice, steady delivery.  I find the flavor lasts about 40 minutes or so.

Rating and Final Thoughts

I found this one to be pretty interesting.  The flavor wasn't a 1:1 clone of American Wintergreen, like I'm used to.  But, I found it to have a green, outdoorsy type of flavor.  I rated it at 3.75/5.  As an outdoorsman, I found it to taste like a cool fall morning.  I think that's where the "nostalgia" from the flavor description comes in.  It's a pretty intriguing flavor, and one you'll want to check out for yourself.

  1. Hey, I read your reviews on OAT, enjoyed them, nice work. The company says that there’s an invite code on each of their boxes. If you haven’t used it, would you mind sharing it? I’ve joined their waitlist a while back, but still haven’t gotten the code.
