Zone Citrus (Nicotine Pouch) - Review. 21 July 2025.

A few months ago I reviewed Zone Nicotine Pouches.  Well, the ones I could find locally.  This one, Citrus, I haven't been able to track down locally.  I found this one on NicPouches.us, so I grabbed a can from there to review.  If you aren't familiar with Zone, it was previously known as L!X (or Lix) Nicotine Pouches.  Imperial bought them out in 2023, and rebranded the as Zone, which is another brand they make and sell in Europe (many times as Zone X).  The flavor description for this one says "Bright and tangy citrus that awakens your taste buds".  Each can weighs 8g and has 20 pouches, for 0.4g each.  The nicoitne content on this one is 9mg/pouch.  They also make a 6mg variant, but I haven't seen that one yet.  So, let's try it out!

Opening up the can, I noticed the pouches were slightly yellow-brownish.  I suspect that is due to the flavorings used.  The aroma is a sharp presence of lemon, along with some tones of menthol.  The pouches are rather small, but still slim, and soft to the touch.  They have a nice mouthfeel, and a subtle cooling sensation under the upper lip.  In the flavor profile, it is certainly citrusy.  It has a present, tart lemon character.  It is slightly minty, but has more of a menthol tone to it.  In the nicotine strength, it does have a pretty decent delivery.  This one feels about the regular strength level.  In terms of the flavor longevity, I find this one hangs out about 30-40 minutes, on average.

Rating and Final Thoughts

This one was okay, but not amazing or anything.  I don't like it being minty citrus.  If I want a citrus pouch, I want it to be citrus.  Not citrus-mint.  But that's just me.  On the whole, it rated at 3.08/5.  My only complaint other than the flavor is that the pouches are kind of small.  If you like mint, you may like this one.  It's a pass for me, it does have a little bit of that cleaning product presence to it.  But, to be fair, I don't think any company has made a good citrus pouch for the US market yet.
