Zippix Nicotine Toothpicks - Review. 3 July 2025.

Ah, nicotine toothpicks - we meet again!  Over the years, I've had quite a few products like this.  I reviewed the NicotinePicks in the past, as well as Pixotine.  Today, we have Zippix, a product that is FDA registered and made in the USA!  I have 6 of their flavors to check out today, so this will be interesting.  I've always found this toothpicks to be intriguing.  I'm a big toothpick guy, going back to my middle school Razor Ramon phase.   So, when I saw these Zippix ones, I had to give them a go.  They come in these little pouches and to get them open you tear the top and then open the seal.  Super easy stuff!  Let's check these out!

Zippix:  The Toothpicks

With these products, Zippix says "the nicotine and flavoring is absorbed throughout every toothpick, and not just coated on the surface".  These come in two strengths, 2mg and 3mg.  In the 2mg you'll find mocha, peppermint/watermelon, cinnamon, and clove.  In the 3mg you'll find whisky and sweet wood.  Pricing wise, a 20 pack of these sits around $7.99.  The toothpicks are slightly wet, which I assume is from some kind of coating on them.  But, using them is as easy as popping them in your mouth and going on about your day.  I use stronger snus products myself, so I don't feel a ton of nicotine from these, but if you're quitting smoking, these strengths would do quite fine with that.  I quit smoking with a 4mg snus, so these would have worked quite well back in my early days.  Now, I just use them for the fun of it.  What can I say, I think they're neat.  

Zippix:  Sweet Wood

Flavor Description:  "Sweet with a slight bite".

My Thoughts:  When you open the pouch, you'll notice a sweet aroma.  The wood notes remind me of pine in the aroma and the flavor.  Chewing on this one, I rather enjoy it.  It's pure, it's simple.  It's wood, and it's sweet.  Basic, but nice!

Zippix:  Peppermint Watermelon

Flavor Description:  "Enjoy a refreshing burst of peppermint flavor with a sweet hint of melon!"

My Thoughts:  Opening up this pouch, I smell a nice watermelon aroma, a slight mintiness, and a touch of pine.  These have a great flavor.  I pick up the melon/mint combination along with a flavor of pine and some sweetness.  It's pretty tasty stuff.

Zippix:  Mocha

Flavor Description:  "The smooth, chocolate coffee flavor will have your tastebuds doing the tango".

My Thoughts:  This one has a pretty smooth aroma of coffee along with hints of chocolate.  It has a light roasted tone, along with some pine notes.  The flavor is quite good.  I don't drink a lot of coffee, but I enjoy the coffee/chocolate taste this one has.

Zippix:  Sweet Island Clove

Flavor Description:  "An incredibly rich flavor that reminds you of tropical island spices".

My Thoughts:  Oh, how I love clove.  This one certainly packs that rich, spicy aroma of clove when you open up the pouch.  In the lip, these taste great.  This one is probably my favorite of the bunch.  It's a rich, exotic, sweet, spicy clove flavor.

Zippix:  Cinnamon

Flavor Description:  "You'll love the satisfying rush of cinnamon flavor with a refreshing hint of spearmint!"

My Thoughts:  The aroma of this one is certainly unqiue.  The spearmint/cinnamon smell is sweet, smooth, and spicy.  The flavor is actually not too bad.  I was worried, but they made it work.  The spearmint flavor is smooth.  The cinnamon is rich, and spicy.  It's a pretty solid mix.

Zippix:  Sweet Whisky

Flavor Description:  "Taste like they were crafted right from the cask of your favorite bourbon batch".

My Thoughts:  Opening up the pouch, this one definitely has a stout, strong aroma of whisky.  I don't drink spirits myself, but I certainly can appreciate the aroma/flavor they have going on with this one.  In the flavor, the wood tastes and the whisky flavor come through quite nicely.  It's almost a little smoky in flavor, too, which caught me offguard.  It has a subtle earthiness to it, and a little sweetness, too!

My Final Thoughts

Usually I wrap up my reviews with a rating, but it would be pretty hard to rate these.  So, I'll just say that I enjoyed them.  I love chewing on toothpicks, I do it all the time.  So I can definitely say I'd be a buyer for something like this.  But, if you're someone who is quitting smoking and looking for an alternative, you can't go wrong with these.  My favorite one of the bunch was the Clove one, but honestly all of them were pretty tasty
