Each one of these products comes in two sizes: 30 grams and 15 grams. So, you can go to the big boy if you want (about the size of a snus can), or go with a smaller 15 gram tin if you want to test it out. And, a special shout out to Kiley Owen for the beautiful graphic design on these. He also did some design work on my Artisan Snus!
Now, to give you the aroma description, I did go a little J Peterman Catalog from Seinfeld with these, but I truly wanted to immerse you in the Snubie World Tour! I'll share the whole review, but I'll bold the key aroma ingredients for you, as well. Aroma description: "It’s a warm summer day on Bondi Beach in Australia. The weather is a warm 79°F. As you sit in the sand and look out on the beautiful blue water, your senses are brought to life by the rich aromas in the air. As you listen to the waves crash and experience the sun, sand, and sea, it's impossible not to think to yourself "this is heaven". There are days you want to never end, and this is one of them. To continue this experience, simply open a tin of Snubie's Bondi Beach. You'll immediately encounter rich scents of geranium, citrus, rose, and cedarwood. While your day at the beach may be over, the memories are never far away. This premium nasal snuff will always remind you of the cool blue water, the crisp sea air, and the warm sun on your skin."
Now, let's do a review! Some say it's weird that I review my own products, and it's hard to see impartial, and that may be true in a way, so I won't be doing a rating for these like I do with my regular products. I'll just describe them as I usually do!
This is one I was rather excited that made it through the initial polls. I'm a big fan of the beach, and one of my favorite snus products, Lundgren's Västkusten, is very nautical. I wanted to bring the presence of the sea air to this one. And I think it captured pretty well! Right off the tin I pick up beautiful floral notes, along with a light sweetness. The grind is semi-moist, soft, and easy to take. In the nose, the aroma is everything I hoped it would be. First, I note geranium and rose quite clearly. Behind it, some subtle notes of wood. And then on the tail end, just a faint touch of citrus. I don't get a big drip from this one, or a big throat hit. I do get a little sneezy from time to time, but not too often. This one has a nice nicotine kick to it, and hits pretty well. On the tail end of this one, I note a lingering floral presence that is pretty enjoyable.
Final Thoughts
This is one of my favorite ones in the SWT line. I am a big fan of being out on the water, and this one very much captures the crisp sea air. This is one of my favorites in the lineup and I'm definitely going to be going through this tin!
One quick note, you may notice the labels on this first run scratch easily, and the design to not be super sharp on the 15g tin. This will be rectified on the next run, and I do apologize for it. But, on the next run we'll make sure they're much better!
