This review is kind of an easy one. I reviewed this product a few months ago, in it's Norwegian version:
Skruf PWR Portion S5. This one is the exact same as that one, except released outside of Norway. As you can tell, it has a regular snus can, so this is one now available in Sweden, and in the e-stores as well. I bought this one from
SnusMe.com recently. The
Skruf PWR line launched a year ago, in December of 2020, and has the token tobacco and rose oil taste of Skruf, but without the inclusion of a heavy citrus presence. The flavor description for this one says it has a "
taste of robust tobacco". Each can weighs 21.6 grams and contains 24 portions, for 0.9 gram portions. The nicotine content is 24mg/g (2.4%), which breaks down to 21.6mg/portion.
As I literally just reviewed this one, I'm just going to quote from my last review, since it's the exact same product. "
The aroma that comes through when you open the can is a dark, rich base tobacco. I pick up clear, floral hints, which comes through lightly sweet. I imagine that is an inclusion of rose oil, which is a hallmark of the Skruf brand. The portions are slim, moist, and soft. They feel great in the lip, and the flavor comes on pretty quickly. In the flavor, the floral presence come through right off the bat, and reminds me of a smooth, lightly sweet rose oil. The tobacco base right behind it is a dark, rich flavor. In terms of strength, this one is pretty stout. It feels firmly at the extra strong level. The flavor, on average, lasts about 45 minutes." Pretty easy review!
Rating and Final Thoughts
This is a pretty easy one to rate, because it's the exact same rating as I gave the other one: 3.96/5. It's a pretty solid product, however it does take a hit on strength because it's stronger than I personally prefer. However, the aroma and flavor is top notch; this is one of the better tasting products I've reviewed this year. If you like a taste of tobacco, and have a higher nicotine craving, this is one you'll want to grab a can of.
