Zafari Nicotine Pouches (Orange & Guava) - Reviews. 19 May 2021.

Earlier this year, I reviewed three new products in the Zafari Nicotine Pouches lineup:  Desert Mint, Breezy Citrus, and Sunset Mango.  All three had pretty nice flavors, especially the Sunset Mango one.  Now, they're back with two new flavors:  Caribbean Guava and Red Sea Orange.  I've been impressed with the line so far, but these two may be their best products yet. Their website describes a little more about their inspiration for these products: "Zafari flavours comes from our lives spent in or close to the ocean, on a surfboard or just being close to the elements. Nature is our inspiration and source of energy". They go further to say "Our nicotine pouches gives you an instant pleasure when you need it the most. A taste zafari with zero tobacco. ZAFARI is the new generation's nicotine pouches, created to give your tastebuds a wave of enjoyment wherever you are in your life's Zafari!"

Zafari Caribbean Guava

Zafari Caribbean Guava
Review:  When you open the can, the aroma that comes through is quite amazing.  It's a ripe, juicy aroma of guava and mango along with a little pear mixed in.  The portions are slim, not super moist but not super dry, and pretty comfortable under the lip.  The flavor is really good.  It's a fruity, tropical taste.  The guava comes through clearly, along with hints of mango.  There's a little strawberry backing to it, and a mild hint of pear.  The nicotine strength on this one feels to be about regular strength, and the flavor lasts about 40-50 minutes, on average.

Zafari Red Sea Orange
Flavor Description:  "When kitesurfing in the Red Sea you can taste the taste of sun-ripened oranges picked straight from the trees in always sunny Egypt. Fresh!"
Can Contents:  14 grams, 20 portions, 0.7g each
Nicotine Strength:  14mg/g (1.4%) / 9.8mg/portion

Zafari Red Sea Orange
Review:  Being a lover of citrus flavored products, I was excited to try this one.  Orange isn't a very common flavor.  When you open the can, a mild aroma of orange comes through.  It's lightly tart in nature, and not overly sweet.  The portions are soft, and not really dry but not really moist.  The portion material is pretty comfortable in the lip, as well.  The flavor is pretty good.  It has more presence in the flavor than the aroma, but it's still relatively mild.  The orange taste is gentle, and subtle.  It's fresh, and I find it to be not too sweet, and not too tart.  In terms of strength, it feels around regular, maybe a little above.  The flavor, on average, lasts about 40-50 minutes.

Rating and Final Thoughts

Of the two of these, Guava came out on top at 3.29/5, and Orange came out right below it at 3.04/5.  Both of these were quite good, and probably my favorites I've had so far in the Zafari line.  But that Caribbean Guava one - just wow, it is something else.  I don't use nicotine pouches myself, but I'm going to grab a few cans of it for the summer time.   I have a feeling it's going to hit the spot when the weather starts warming up!
