Zafari (Nicotine Pouches) - Review. 21 January 2021.

Today, we're going to be talking about some new nicotine pouches by Zafari!  I've seen these for sale on Snusbolaget.se for a while and have been wanting to review them.  Zafari is a company in Sweden, and their website describes their inspiration for these products:  "Zafari flavours comes from our lives spent in or close to the ocean, on a surfboard or just being close to the elements. Nature is our inspiration and source of energy".  They go further to say "Our nicotine pouches gives you an instant pleasure when you need it the most. A taste zafari with zero tobacco.  ZAFARI is the new generation's nicotine pouches, created to give your tastebuds a wave of enjoyment wherever you are in your life's Zafari!"  In this review, I'll be talking about all three of their flavors, so let's get right into it!

Zafari Desert Mint

Flavor Description:

Review:  This one has a pretty sharp, focused aroma of menthol.  The portions are slim and soft, and have a cooling presence in the lip.  They're also a little lighter in weight than most nicotine pouches.  The flavor is a pretty present taste of menthol with a subtle sweetness to it.  The nicotine feels a little less than regular strength, and the flavor lasts about 35-40 minutes on average!

Zafari Sunset Mango

Flavor Description:

Review:  This one has a present, lightly sweet, tropical smell of mango.  The portions are slim and soft, but a little lighter in weight.  The flavor is pretty tasty!  I definitely pick up mango, along with a little hint of peach.  It's a nice tropical flavor with a subtle sweetness to it.  The strength feels a little less than regular strength, and the flavor lasts about 35-40 minutes on average.

Zafari Breezy Citrus

Review:  The aroma of this one is a tart, citrusy smell.  It's mostly lime, and isn't overly sweet.  The portions are soft and comfortable in the lip, with a light weight and a slim fit.  The flavor is a pretty tart, smooth citrus flavor.  I notice mostly lime, but there are tones of lemon in the background.  The nicotine feels a little less than regular strength, and the flavor lasts about 35-40 minutes, on average!

Rating and Final Thoughts

To rank them, Zafari Mango was my favorite, at 3.29 out of 5.  Breezy Citrus came in second at 3.13 out of 5.  And last, Desert Mint at 3.04 out of 5.  There's so many mint flavors out there, it's hard for me to get excited about mint products.  But, I see why the company has to do it.  If I were to suggest Zafari products to try, I'd say try the mango and citrus ones.  Those were my two favorite of the bunch.  Both had nice, tropical, straightforward flavors.  Definitely good for the summer months whenever it rolls around!
