The XQS line is a pretty solid line of nicotine pouches. I reviewed their
first four products in late 2020, and their new
Fizzy Cola one a few weeks ago. In fact, I don't even use nicotine pouches but one of their products,
XQS Pipe Candy, has found it's way into my regular mix. I know, surprising! They make a pretty solid product, and now have added a new one to their lineup: XQS Twin Apple! The flavor description for this one says, "
XQS Twin Apple Strong has a sour and sweet taste combination of green and red apples". Each can weighs 10 grams and has 20 portions, for 0.5g each. The nicotine content is 20mg/g (2.0%), or 10mg/portion.
When you open the can, the first thing that you'll notice is the portions are brown. These are the same as regular nicotine pouches in all aspects, just a different color. The aroma is a lightly sweet, tart aroma of apple. It seems to be a pretty even mix of red apple and green apple. In the lip, I find the portions to be a little lighter in weight than usual, but they're still pretty soft and comfortable. In the flavor, the apple taste is pretty enjoyable! It's not super sweet, and is pretty natural. I pick up tones of red apple, but with tart green apple hints in the mix, as well. In terms of strength, it feels about regular strength, maybe a little above. The flavor longevity, on average, lasts about 45-50 minutes.
Rating and Final Thoughts
I rated this one at 3.29/5. Like other products in the XQS line, it was pretty impressive. The flavor was solid, and long lasting. My only complaint with this line, really, is that the pouches seem light and not as full as they should be. I think if they pushed these to 0.7-0.9g each, this could be one of the best nicotine pouch products on the market. But all in all, it's not bad. If you like nicotine pouches, you'd probably enjoy their line of products. Especially Pipe Candy, that one is heaven in a pouch.
