Cannadips Blue Dream (CBD Pouches) - Review. 2 March 2021.

Today, we're going to be talking about a product in Cannadips CBD Pouches Humboldt Collection.  If you're not familiar, the Humboldt Collection is a "collection of strain-based Terpene blend profiles...in small-batch productions".  It's kind of like their special series.  I've reviewed other products in this series including OG Kush, Zkittles, and Lemon Tree.  If you're not familiar with the Blue Dream strain, this is how Cannadips describes it:  "Blue Dream was first cultivated in California, in the 1990s, though the exact origin is hotly debated. Blue Dream is a cross between ever popular strains, Blueberry and Haze. The result is a hybrid with a unique terpene profile that boasts a complex aroma of blueberry pie crossed with a skunky Humboldt haze". As  usual, each can of Cannadips contains 15 portions, and each portion contains 10mg of CBD.
  
What is CBD?

If you're new to CBD, don't feel bad, I am too.  Mrs. Snubie is a big fan of CBD, and she got me into it in early 2020.  CBD, or Cannabidiol, is a naturally occurring compound found in the hemp plant.  According to Drugs.com it’s useful for relieving anxiety, depression, pain, inflammation, and can also be used to improve sleep.  For me, I mainly use it for back pain (because I own and work on our farm), as well as frequent headaches.  Mrs. Snubie uses it for headaches, back pain (she's a nurse, so she stays quite busy), insomnia, and other feminine pains, for our female audience.  Needless to say, CBD is awesome and I've become a big fan of it recently.

So, how is this stuff?  Well, it's quite good.  It's a little sweeter than other products in the Cannadips range, so it fills a hole that they didn't have in their other products.  The aroma is sweet, with tones of blueberry, and an earthy/herbal presence in the background.  The pouches are dry, but still pretty comfortable in the lip.  They plump up pretty well, and don't feel too light in the lip.  The flavor is quite nice.  It is of a sweeter nature, and has a light herbal/earthy under-base to the flavor profile.  The blueberry character wraps around it pretty well.  In terms of CBD, Cannadips is the CBD pouch that has the best delivery system, bar none.  The flavor also lasts quite a while.  Usually I keep them in for about an hour, but Mrs. Snubie will push her pouches to up to 2 hours sometimes.

Rating and Final Thoughts

I went back and revisited my ratings, and was surprised to see that this one is one of my highest rated Cannadips products!  It's tied with Lemon Tree, at 4.38 out of 5.  It's a really tasty product.  Probably not one I'd use exclusively, but one I'd keep around to mix into my regular CBD pouch rotation.  I'm glad to see so many different types of flavors from Cannadips, since they've become my favorite manufacturer.
