As you probably already know, I've really been enjoying CBD. Mrs. Snubie got me into it last year, and I've gone from being a casual reviewer of it, to a full time user of it. I've become a big fan of the
Cannadips brand, and their CBD pouches have become what I use full time. Today we're talking about one in their special
Humboldt Collection, Cannadips OG Kush! Now, I'm not a weed guy, but from what I've gathered OG Kush is a legendary, hybrid strain created in the early 90’s. Their description says: "
OG Kush was first cultivated in Florida, in the 1990s when a strain from California was crossed with a Hindu Kush plant from Amsterdam. The result was a hybrid with a unique terpene profile that boasts a complex aroma with notes of fuel, skunk, and spice". Each can contains 15 pouches, with 10mg of CBD per pouch. As I've never smoked OG Kush, and I'm not familiar with what fuel, skunk, or spice are, I'll review this as best I can!
If you're not familiar with CBD, I'll do a quick background.
CBD, or
Cannabidiol, is a naturally occurring compound found in the hemp plant. According to
Drugs.com it’s useful for relieving anxiety, depression, pain, inflammation, and can also be used to improve sleep. For me, I mainly use it for back pain (because I own and work on our farm), as well as frequent headaches. Mrs. Snubie uses it for headaches, back pain (she's a nurse, so she stays quite busy), insomnia, and other
feminine pains, for our female audience. Needless to say, CBD is awesome and I've become a big fan of it recently.
When you open the can, the aroma that greets you is a dark, herbal character with notes of spice. The aroma has an earthy nature to it. Cannadips comes in the white portion format, which means it's going to be a dryer pouch. As it gets more moist in the lip, it gets more comfortable, and the flavor starts to release more. The flavor seems to have an earthy nature to it, with a light grassy character. There is a dark/rich herbal flavor, along with a slight spiciness and a dank quality to it. It's very interesting. In terms of the CBD delivery, I've always found Cannadips to provide the best CBD delivery in a CBD pouch. It's a steady delivery, and isn't lacking in terms of the CBD experience. It has a really long lasting flavor to it, as well! I've noticed with this one I can enjoy it for well over an hour!
Rating and Final Thoughts
Having never had OG Kush before, and not being a weed person, I didn't know what to expect. But, I was pleasantly surprised and found myself really enjoying the flavor of this one. It's very earthy, and fits quite well when I'm outdoors. It rated at 4.04/5 for me, and is definitely one that I would order again. If you want to try out CBD and like earthy/herbal types of flavors, this would be a good one to check out!
