Loop Jalapeño Lime Strong (Nicotine Pouches) - Review. 4 May 2020.

This product originally launched in 2020. Back then, it was in the beginning wave of the nicotine pouch revolution, as companies were putting out hundreds of products. Back when I first had it, my original rating was 3.25/5. This is a higher rating compared to a lot of nicotine pouches I review, but now 6 years later it feels kind of low. So, I felt it deserved a new review, as this is my personal favorite nicotine pouch and the only one I ever buy and use. The flavor description for this one says, "A spicy taste of green chile and fresh lime". Each can weighs in at 12.5g. I count 20 pouches, which would be 0.625g each. The nicotine strength is 15.04mg/g, which breaks down to 9.4mg/pouch. So while this is called "strong", it's actually about regular strength.  Let's open a can and check it out!

Opening the can, the aroma that comes through is a mild aroma of chili pepper. The lime sits right before it. It doesn't smell overly spicy, and is pretty well balanced. The pouches are slim, soft to the touch, and decently moist. Under the lip they are soft, and yield a light burn from the pepper presence. It's not major or anything, but I do notice just a little from it. The flavor is really tasty stuff. I love the mixing of citrus and pepper. The lime flavor is tart, but does have a little sweetness to it. The chili pepper taste is mild, and pairs well with the flavor of lime. It tastes great. In the strength, though this is called a "Strong", it's actually regular strength. It has a comfortable delivery to it that doesn't hit too fast. The flavor lasts quite a while, sometimes up to almost an hour. I really enjoy the flavor presence on this, and the flavor longevity, which you don't find as much in other pouches!

Rating and Final Thoughts

While I originally rated this one at 3.25/5, I felt that was a bit low, given how much I personally enjoy this one.  The new rating sits at 4.08/5, which makes this my highest rated nicotine pouch yet.  Again, this is my personal rating and your experience may vary, but as it sits, there isn't a better nicotine pouch on the market than this one.  I use it day in and day out, and never tire of it.  Great stuff!
