ZeroStyle Mint and Regular, two products from JTI/Nordic Snus AB for the Japanese market. They're apparently doing well, as they released two more variants in October of 2018: Vanilla and Cool Mint! I was surprised to see how many readers and viewers I have in Japan, so I figured I would review these new versions, as well. When these products launched, JTI put out a release that said "While the majority of consumers in Japan enjoy tobacco in the form of cigarettes, demand is increasing for tobacco products designed to be used in places where consideration needs to be given for those nearby. Zerostyle Snus are snus whose taste, aroma and portion size have been specially developed by JTI to meet the preferences of Japanese consumers."
I found a product description online that says, "冷涼な爽快感が広がる、ペパーミント風味の味わい". The best Google translation I could get says that means "A cool refreshing feeling spreads, the taste of peppermint flavor". I count 20 portions in the can, and I weighed them out to be 0.3 grams each which would mean a 6 gram can. I don't know what the nicotine content is.
Granit Ice Blue snus, but with more peppermint flavor. The taste, on average, lasts about 30-45 minutes. I'm not sure what the nicotine strength is, but when I put 3 in my lip it feels to be regular strength so I'm assuming it's around 8mg/g.
As with the last one, I found a product description online for these. This one says, "程よい甘さが広がる、バニラ風味の味わい". The best Google translation I could get says that means "A reasonable sweetness spreads, the taste of vanilla flavor". Same as Cool Mint, I counted 20 portions in the can, and I weighed them out to be 0.3 grams each which would mean a 6 gram can. I don't know what the nicotine content is.
Oden's Vanilla White Dry. The flavor lasts a pretty good amount of time, usually around 30-45 minutes on average. As far as the nicotine strength goes, I'm not sure what it is. I put in three portions which would be 0.9g and it felt to be about regular strength, so I'm going to guess it's around 8mg/g.
As far as these products go, if you're in Japan and want to try something out, these are worth a try!
