Granit Ice Blue White Slim - Review (Discontinued). 6 November 2017.

NOTE:  This product has been discontinued and is no longer for sale.

This is an interesting product. It's new, but not technically new. Some of you may remember back in May of 2016 I reviewed Granit Sensations Mint (Slim White). That product was rebranded earlier this year as Granit Mint White Slim. And now it's been rebranded again as Granit Ice Blue White Slim. Same product, but new design and new name. The flavor description of this product says, "The portions of Granit Ice Blue White Slim Portion are slim and contain less moisture. The snus has a taste of peppermint." This product comes in a 16.8 gram can with 24 portions, for 0.7 gram portions. The nicotine content is 8mg/g (0.8%), which breaks down to 5.60mg/portion.

As I mentioned, this product is the same as Granit Sensations Mint and Granit Mint Slim White, so if you've had either of those, it's the same thing. When you open the can, the aroma that comes through is predominantly menthol, with a hint of peppermint in the background. The portions are a little dryer to the touch than most white portions, but it does give a longer lasting flavor than most white portions. Being a mint product you do experience that familiar cooling sensation in the lip, as well. The flavor is a present taste of menthol accompanied by a taste of peppermint in the background. It's not overly sweet, and the flavor is relatively mild. Being a dryer white portion, the flavor lasts a good amount of time; I've found I can enjoy these portions for a little over an hour. The nicotine strength also feels to be about the regular strength.

There's a million mint products on the market, but I like that this one has a long lasting flavor and the taste isn't too sweet.  Also, it's good to see regular strength products still being made.  If you're a mint snuser, give this one a try - you may like it!
