Knekt Los - Review (Old Review). 23 August 2015.

NOTE:  This is the old review.  You can check out the new/updated review, here.

I've been working on finishing up the reviews section at Snubie.com recently, a process I started in 2009 and one I hope to complete by the end of 2014, and that means reviewing the last snus products available that I haven't gotten around to yet. Many of those are los brands. I use mostly portions, so I don't really write about los much, but I know lots of people enjoy los, so I'm getting those last brands reviewed that I haven't written about.  Today, I'll be reviewing Knekt Los. I recently did an order from The Northerner so I threw in all the lossnus that I've yet to review.

I reviewed Knekt Original and White Portion back in 2011 and wasn't a fan of them. But I know people who greatly enjoy this snus, so I wanted to give it a try as well. The product description describes it as, "A taste of tobacco."  The grind on this one is rather fine, so I advise using a snus portioning tool.  A side note, I recently found out the Knekt logo is actually called a "Fleur-de-lis", which is a French word for lily.  When I open a can of this the aroma that comes through reminds me of Lucky Strike.  Basically, a mellow tobacco aroma with a very small smoky hint in the background.  When it comes to the taste of this one, it's much better than the portion formats I had tried a few years ago.  The taste reminds me of the tobacco flavor of Lucky Strike - a pleasant, mellow tobacco flavor with a little smokiness.  I wish the portions tasted like this, because the los is actually pretty good!
