Skruf Tranbär (Cranberry) White - Review. 17 April 2015.

Review Updated:  11 February 2021

It's been 4 years since I've reviewed this one, but I recently began revisiting the Skruf brand due to their redesign, and figured I would review this one, as well. For some reason, this one and the Skruf Mynta White did not go through a redesign. When this one launched back in 2015, it was part of the Skruf Ecological series. All the original flavored products in that series have disappeared, but this one and Mynta are still produced. I'm not sure if this one is produced with organic tobacco anymore or not, but it was when it launched.  And some stores still have "organic" in their flavor description.

The flavor description for this product says, "A taste of cranberry".  It comes in a 21.6 gram can with 24 portions for 0.9 gram portions. The nicotine content I've seen listed in most places has it as a 2/4, which would be around the regular strength level.

Alright, now that we've talked a little background, let's get to know this product a little better and do a review!  When you open the can, the aroma is a mild, lightly sweet, lightly tart smell of cranberry. The white portions have a soft portion material, and are quite comfortable and plump under the lip! The flavor is relatively mild, and gentle in nature. If you're looking for bold cranberry, you won't find it here.  Don't get me wrong, it's not bad, it's just not super in your face or anything.  The cranberry taste is very light in presence. It has a light sweetness to it, as well.    It's lightly tart, but not overly so.  There's also a mild, gentle tobacco character in the background. In terms of nicotine strength, it feels to be about the regular level. The flavor, on average, lasts about 50-55 minutes.

Rating and Final Thoughts

This is a pretty decent product.  I rated it at 3.33 out of 5.  It's nothing I'd use full time or anything, but it's a nice product to break things up from time to time.
