Swedish Match has supplied more details about the new XRANGE, which is now on sale!

"XRANGE is a new snus series consisting of five products with well-known flavors from the Swedish Match brand collection. Thanks to a new technology the portions are long lasting with minimal drip.

The products included in the XRANGE series has the following product features:

SLIM LARGE – large portions in a slim format for an optimized fit under the lip.

LONG LASTING – portions with a more even and longer lasting taste

MINIMAL DRIP – portions with lower drip compared to other large products from Swedish Match.

XRANGE is a product series that will continuously keep on growing with new features and product launches."

XRANGE Catch Slim Large White

A mellow tobacco taste with distinct notes of peppermint, along with hints of eucalyptus and cedar.

XRANGE General Slim Large Portion

A spicy tobacco taste with notes of bergamot and hints of tea, hay and leather.

XRANGE General Slim Large White Strong

A mellow and spicy tobacco taste with distinct notes of citrus and bergamot, along with hints of tea.

XRANGE General Slim Large White

A mellow tobacco taste with distinct notes of bergamot and citrus, along with hints of tea.

XRANGE Goteborg’s Rape Slim Large White

A mellow tobacco taste with distinct notes of lavender and juniper, along with hints of oak and citrus.

Swedish Match sent out some news today about a new product line coming soon, XRANGE. They said, "In mid-April we are launching a brand new snus series - XRANGE. The series flavor longer and runs less, in comparison with the rest of the Large-products from Swedish Match."

Recently we wrote about Swedish Match discontinuing several products.  When I wrote that article I guessed that something new was coming, saying "One thought I have is that a new portion material could be coming. General Tailored and Goteborg's Rape White Slim both use the Natufibe pouches, which could be being replaced with something better. Perhaps we'll see two new long/slim General products come that will take General Long and General Tailored White to the next level. Only time will tell."  I'm glad to see that the educated guess I made came true, because I really enjoy General Long and Goteborg's Rape Slim - so it pleases me to know they'll live on as XRANGE snuses.

Swedish Match went on to say, "The new snus series XRANGE from Swedish Match consists of five new products. XRANGE contains known flavors from Swedish Match range. They will be based on the following four products from the current range: Catch Pure Mint Medium Slim, General Tailored White, Goteborg Rapé Slim White Large and General Long Original."
