The Lundgren's brand has really been amping up lately. It was about this time last year that I reviewed Lundgren's Forbakad and Lundgren's Perforated Vit for the first time, and in June of 2014 I reviewed Lundgren's Mint Vit Extra Stark.  Now, there is a new pre-baked snus from Lundgren's!  I recently did a Northerner.com order and threw in a can to review.  I always get excited to see new brands growing, it's one thing I love the most about Swedish Snus.  We have so many products available to us - there's a flavor for everyone.  I love the General brand - but that's not for everybody, so I'm glad there are alternatives for everybody so every snus user can find their own unique flavor rotation.

For those unfamiliar with the type of snus we're going to discuss today, let's dive into that.

Forbakad (Pre-Baked) - When I wrote about this product last year, I found this description from Fiedler and Lundgren about the Forbakad snus - "Prebaked portion snus without a pouch, it combines the feel of loose snus and the the easiness of portionsnus."

Lastly, let's talk about Lundgren's Stark Forbakad. The flavor description of this one says, " Strong pre-baked portion snus without a pouch, it combines the feel of loose snus and the the easiness of portionsnus. Rich tobacco taste where you find dark notes and sweetness, with hints of meadow flower and herbs."  When you open a can, the aroma that comes out is a dark tobacco smell with a very faint herbal aroma in the background.  Forbakad is kind of like los training wheels.  It's a little smaller than I bake my prilla usually, but it's very convenient and very well packed.  The flavor comes on pretty quickly, as with most lossnus.  This snus is a pretty straightforward tobacco taste with a nice presence of salt, which I really enjoy.  There is a very slight herbal taste, but it's very mild and in the background.  I didn't get any of the sweetness of floral taste in this one - it's pretty much just an earthy tobacco taste with a nice salt balance and a very faint herbal taste in the background.  Think Tre Ankare, but with the tobacco taste dialed way up, and the herbal taste dialed way down.
