Offroad Frosted Los - Review (Discontinued). 12 November 2014.

This product has been discontinued and is no longer for sale.

I recently reviewed Oden's Extreme Cold Los and noticed how few mint los snus products were out there. There's Oden's Extreme Cold Los, Thunder Frosted Los, and this one. The Thunder and Oden's are both quite strong, but what about people who want a mint los that isn't strong? This one may provide the answer to that. I'm surprised it's taken me 5 years to get around to trying this, to be honest. I recently did an order with The Northerner and threw a can in so I could write a review about it. The product description says, "A fresh taste of tobacco and spearmint."  When I first started snusing, I went through a phase where virtually all I used was mint snus.  And the majority of those products was Thunder Frosted Portion and Offroad Frosted Portion.  I really enjoy V2 Tobacco's take on mint flavored snus.

When you open a can of Offroad Frosted Los, the aroma that comes through is a sweet, refreshing spearmint smell. The grind of this one is somewhat in the middle between fine and coarse, so you can handbake it or use a snus portioning tool, but either way works just fine.  The flavor is a fresh, clear spearmint taste with a slight sweetness to it.  You can taste the tobacco but it's not bold or overpowering, the spearmint flavor is front and center.

If you're a fan of mint snus and want something in a los that has a regular strength - this is definitely one to check out!
