Jakobsson's Dynamite (Extra Stark) - Review (Discontinued). 23 August 2013.

This is a rather exciting snus release from Gotlandssnus. Most of their products are flavored: such as mint, melon, wintergreen, etc. This is their main "traditional flavored" snus.  This is also their strongest snus, with a nicotine strength of 18mg/g!  The flavor description for this product says, "Jakobsson's Dynamite Extra Strong Portion Snus is a powerful snus with the traditional taste of Swedish snus - a full-bodied tobacco blend with clear tones of bergamot." Dynamite comes in a 20 gram can with 20 portions for full 1 gram portions! The nicotine strength is 18mg/g (1.8%) which, with 1 gram portions, easily calculates to 18mg/g.

This snus truly lives up to the name Dynamite. It has a bold smell, a rich taste, and a strong kick! When you open the can, the aroma that jumps out at you is a bold tobacco smell accompanied by a light smell of citrus. The portions are plump, moderately moist, and have a long lasting taste but also a quick release of flavor. The taste is quite good! It reminds me a lot of the old Lucky Strike: Original Portion but with a touch of citrus. The tobacco flavor is powerful, dark, rich, and a little spicy. It's accompanied by a light, slightly sweet taste of citrus. The flavor lasts a good amount of time as well; I've found I've been able to keep these portions in for up to 45 minutes on average. The nicotine kick is also quite strong, this feels firmly at that extra strong level.

If you like tobacco flavored snus or traditional flavored snus, this is a must try.  It has a great taste and a strong kick!
