The folks at
Another Snus Factory have released two new versions of their
Loop Nicotine Pouches: Loop Jalapeño Lime (Extra Strong), and this one, Loop Salty Ludicris (Strong). I've reviewed
the regular strength version of this one, and this new version is the same thing, but with more nicotine! This one has a nice flavor of raspberry licorice, which seems to be a new, growing thing in the snus/nicopod world. There's two snus products with this flavor:
Catch XR Raspberry Licorice and
Score Raspberry Licorice. When it comes to this one, the flavor description says, "A taste of salty licorice and raspberry fusion". Each can weighs 12.5g and contains 20 portions, for 0.63g portions. The nicotine content is 15mg/g (1.5%), or 9.45mg/portion.
When you open the can, the aroma that comes through is a salty black licorice smell with hints of fresh raspberry. The portions are slim, and comfortable under the lip. They are a little dryer than the average nicotine pouch. If you've had Nordic Spirit before, the portion material on these is quite similar. It's dryer, but not uncomfortable or anything. The flavor is a gentle, mild taste of salty black licorice. The raspberry tones are bright, mild in nature, and in the background. The licorice and raspberry mix pretty well, and have a fresh presence of flavor. The nicotine strength is a little above regular strength, and has a steady delivery. The flavor, on average, lasts about 40-45 minutes.
Rating and Final Thoughts
This is a pretty solid nicotine pouch product. I rated it at 3.5 out of 5, which puts it in the mid to upper tier of nicotine pouches for me. I really enjoy licorice products, and adding in raspberry gives it an even better flavor profile, in my opinion. If you like nicotine pouches, you'll have to check out the Loop line. It's a pretty solid product line. There isn't a product in the Loop series I don't like, but this is probably the best one.
