Loop Jalapeño Lime Extra Strong (Nicotine Pouches) - Review. 22 January 2021.

The folks at Another Snus Factory have released two new versions of their Loop Nicotine Pouches:  Loop Salty Ludicris (Strong), and this one, Loop Jalapeño Lime Extra Strong!  I reviewed Loop Jalapeño Lime Strong, and this is like that one, but with a little more kick to it!  This is one with a rather unique flavor; jalapeño is not a common taste in the world of snus, or in the world of nicotine pouches!  The only one I can recall is V2's Thunder Kickass from several years ago.  The flavor description for this one says, "A spicy taste of green chili and fresh lime".  Each can weighs 12.5 grams and has 20 portions, for 0.63g portions.  The nicotine content is 20mg/g (2.0%), or 12.6mg/portion.

When you open the can, a present aroma of green chili greets you along with a hint of lime.  The portions are dryer than the average nicotine pouch, similar to Nordic Spirit, but still comfortable under the lip.  There's also a burn when you put it under the lip, a bit of the spiciness!  It's not like, super spicy/hot, but it does have a little element of spice to the flavor profile.  The flavor is a present, green chili taste with a little spiciness to it.  Lime mingles in from the background and rounds out the chili taste pretty well!  The nicotine packs a decent kick; it feels to be a little over the strong level but not quite to the extra strong level.  The flavor, on average, lasts about 40-45 minutes.

Rating and Final Thoughts

In terms of nicotine pouches, this is one of the better ones.  I rated this one at 3.25 out of 5.  It's definitely in the mid to upper tier of nicotine pouches, in my opinion.  It's got a nice flavor that pairs great with a beer, and this one has a stronger nicotine kick to it.  The Loop line is a pretty solid line of nicotine pouches, so if you're looking for a tobacco free way to enjoy nicotine, this would be a good line to check out!
