The Small Batch series is a line from Swedish Match that has been in production since 2018. It's a way Swedish Match can be creative and try new things, but also test flavors out that they may want to release on a full time basis. Small Batch No4: Raspberry Licorice, for example, was released in July of 2018 and came back in September of 2019 as Catch XR Raspberry Licorice. This one is the second "coffee" flavor that Swedish Match has released in the Small Batch series. In September of 2018 they released Small Batch #5: Kaffe, which was an original portion. This is a white portion with a slightly different flavor. The flavor description for this one says, "Small Batch Hot Shot has a full-bodied taste of coffee, caramel and anise with creamy tones of white chocolate". Each can weighs 24g and has 24 portions for 1g portions. The nicotine content isn't listed, but I'm guessing it's either regular strength or strong.
If you're not familiar, the "Hot Shot" (according to Google) is a Swedish "coffee shot" with Galliano liqueur, espresso and cream. When you open the can, a mild aroma of coffee greets you, along with subtle hints of chocolate and licorice. The portions are in the Star Formation, so I suggest fluffing them once you get them out of the can. They're soft to the touch and pretty comfortable under the lip once you get them fluffed up and ready to go in! The flavor is quite good! The coffee taste is pretty present, and is balanced out by subtle flavors of chocolate and caramel. I pick up a little licorice note in the background, but it doesn't overpower the taste of the coffee. The nicotine strength feels to be about regular strength, and the flavor lasts up to about an hour on average!

Rankings and Ratings
Usually when I review a Small Batch product, I rank it with other Small Batch products. Also, I've recently begun adding a rating system to my reviews, so in this review, I'll have both of them.
Rating
Packaging - 4 - A great looking can!
Aroma - 3.5 - A nice, well balanced aroma of coffee and chocolate!
Lip - 3 - Comfortable portion, some fluffing required.
Flavor - 3.5 - A great tasting coffee snus with hints of chocolate and licorice!
Effect - 4.25 - Regular strength, my favorite.
Longevity - 4 - A long lasting taste!
Average - 3.71/5 - A great snus. I liked SB5 more since it was an original portion, but if this was released full time, I'd definitely buy more of it.
