Grinds Focus Pouches (Blue Raspberry) - Review. 17 November 2025.

There has been a growth lately in the non-nicotine category.  Folks are finding new and interesting things to put into pouches.  The nootropic scene has been on the rise, and now the folks at Grinds are getting in on the action.  Today, we have their new Focus pouches to check out.  Each pouch contains 40mg of Alpha GPC and 40mg of L-Theanine.  What is that, you may be asking?  Grinds says "Alpha GPC is a choline compound that may support memory, learning, and overall brain function*. L-Theanine, found in green tea, may support relaxation without drowsiness".  In each can there are 18 pouches.  The can weighs 9g, so each pouch is just 0.5g each. The flavor description says "Bright blue raspberry flavor with smooth, balanced support".

Opening the can, the aroma in this one is divine.  I pick up a beautiful, lightly sweet, tart, tangy aroma of blue raspberry.  It smells great.  The pouches are slim, lighter in weight, and dry to the touch.  Under the lip they're stiff at first, but as they get more moist they do start to soften up a bit.  In the flavor profile, it's very good stuff.  The blue raspberry flavor is top notch.  It has some tang to it, but also some sweetness.  It's tart, but pretty well balanced with the sweetness.  The flavor also has quite a good amount of life to it, lasting about 30-40 minutes or so.  As far as the effect goes, I think that's going to differ from person to person.  I noticed a pretty chill vibe with it, personally.  I'd be curious to hear from others what they felt with these, too!

Rating and Final Thoughts

If you're looking for an alternative to tobacco, caffeine, or even nicotine, these are an interesting product.  I know the nootropic scene is growing, so it will be interesting to watch this category as it continues to grow in time.  I gave this one a 3.42/5.  It was super tasty!  If you've had these before, drop a comment and let me know your experiences!
