It's been several years since I've had Cuba, but I recently stumbled across some, and have been doing some reviews of this series. One interesting one I came across is their Mega Can! It seems like a lot of companies are making these nowadays. Today, we have their Cherry flavor. I didn't review a lot of Cuba before, because I know they make some crazy strong stuff. I generally don't use anything over 18mg, and I don't review anything over 26mg. For me, that's just a personal responsibility I feel to the audience. But, I found a bunch of lower strength Cuba products, so I figured this would be a good compromise. So, what's inside these giant cans?
I read online that there are 300 pouches in the Mega Can. Each pouch is 0.65g, so the can should be around 195g. I also have one of their smaller cans of this flavor. The smaller cans have 20 pouches, in a 13g can. But, still weighing 0.65g each. The nicotine content on this Cuba is 16mg/g, which breaks down to 10.4mg/pouch. For me, that strength is more approachable. The flavor on this one is said to be a "rich and juicy cherry flavor".
Here you'll see pictured one of the smaller cans. But, same stuff as what is in the Mega Can. The aroma of this one is a nice, present aroma of black cherry. It's lightly tart, and semi-sweet. The pouches are slim, and pretty soft to the touch. They have a moderate amount of moisture to them, and a soft feel against the gum. The flavor is pretty nice. The cherry taste is present, and semi-sweet. It has a slightly tart essence to it, but it's not overdone. The strength is pretty solid. It has a quick delivery, and feels about the regular strength level. I get about 30-40 minutes of flavor life, on average.
Rating and Final Thoughts
All in all, this wasn't a bad pouch. I rated it at 3/5. I know, look, it's 3's across the board. That doesn't happen too often! This one is put above average for me. If you like the cherry flavor, I think this is one you'll be happy with!
