Today, we have a product out of the UK to check out: Zyn Chili Guava! This is, as many on social media call it, an "exotic Zyn" product. This one is sold on the UK market, but I was able to get ahold of it via
TheSnusLife.com. I love spicy flavors. I love tropical flavors. So, I knew this was going to be right up my alley! The flavor description for this one says "
A fruity taste of guava and chili". Each can weighs 14.7g and has 21 pouches, at 0.7g each. The nicotine content is 15.71mg/g, which breaks down to 11mg/pouch. Today, I'll be enjoying a tasty Athletic Run Wild Non-Alcoholic IPA with this one, so let's pair them up and get right into it!
First thing, when I put this one in, I got a nice burn in the lip! When I opened the can, I picked up an aroma of chili pepper, and a little guava. It's tropical, and has a little sweetness to it. When I opened this one up, the aroma instantly reminded me of another pouch I had before. Swedish Match's
Volt Spicy Guava. I think this one is the same thing, but with a new name/design. In the flavor profile, it's pretty nice. It's tropical, and spicy. The guava flavor is front and center. It's spicy, and lightly sweet. But yeah, tastes just like the Volt Spicy Guava I had ages ago. In the strength, this one has a nice kick to it. It feels around the strong level. The flavor longevity is about the usual, 40-45 minutes or so.
Rating and Final Thoughts
Like I mentioned earlier, this is basically the same thing as the Volt Spicy Guava I had a while back. That's not a bad thing, that was a good pouch. I like spicy stuff. I gave this one a 3.42/5. If it was a little less strong I'd like it more, but in the end it was still okay! If you like spicy or tropical flavors, you should give this one a try!
