It's been a little while since I've had XQS products. Since they were added to the FDA "Red List" here in the US, they've been harder to get ahold of. But, I recently tracked some down via Snuzyn.com, and today we have two new flavors to check out! One, Kiwi Strawberry, is pretty standard in name. The other one is Fruzzle. I know, that's an interesting one. So, I'm not quite sure what I'm getting into, but we'll see! Both of these weigh in at 10g, and have 20 pouches, for 0.5g each. The nicotine content on both of them is 16mg/g, or 8mg/pouch. I'm pretty curious to try these out so let's get right into it and see how they taste!
Flavor Description: "A sweet and tart mix of multiple fruits".
Flavor Description: "A tropical mix of strawberry and kiwi".
Flavor Description: "A sweet and tart mix of multiple fruits".
My Review: I noticed the pouches were slightly brown when I opened it up, which happens sometimes with certain flavor additives. In the aroma, I pick up a fruity smell that makes me think of strawberry, but perhaps with some vanilla. The pouches are slim, light in weight, and moderately moist. They have a nice fit under the lip. In the taste, it's sweet, and fruity. It's also smooth, with a creamy aspect. It makes me think of strawberry, but with a creamy essence of vanilla to it. In the strength, it's about the regular level. The flavor hangs out about 30-40 minutes, on average.
XQS Strawberry Kiwi
Flavor Description: "A tropical mix of strawberry and kiwi".
My Review: This one is more straightforward. Opening up the can, I pick up strawberry, and I pick up kiwi. This is an easy one. The pouches are the same as the last one, but not as brown. In the flavor, the kiwi and strawberry mix well together. It's a little on the sweeter side. The strength is the same as the last one, feeling right at the regular level. And, the flavor longevity is about the same, 30-40 minutes.
Rating and Final Thoughts
Both of these were pretty decent, but a little sweet for me. They both ended up at the 3.13/5 rating level. They're tasty though. If you like sweet or fruity flavors, I think you'll dig them. I haven't had XQS in a while, so it was nice to revisit them!
