Today, I have a pouch with a cola flavor to check out: XO Icy Cola! I've reviewed a few in the
XO series in the past, and I've been curious to check this one out. I'm a big fan of the cola flavor! I recently grabbed this in an order from
SnusMe.com with a bunch of other products to review so stay tuned! Lots of reviews coming soon. This is one that's made by BAS Nordic, a company in Sweden. The flavor description on this one says "
The fresh and rejuvenating taste of mint with a deep, sweet and aromatic flavor of cola". Each can weighs 10g and has 20 pouches, for 0.5g each. The nicotine content is 16mg/g, which breaks down to 8mg/pouch. Let's throw one in and check it out!
I'm a big fan of cola flavors, so it's been nice seeing more and more companies making cola flavored pouches. Opening the can, I pick up a present aroma of cola. It has a light cooling presence, along with a mild sweetness to it. The pouch is slim, lighter in weight, with a moderate moisture amount. It's pretty soft under the lip, with a cooling sensation against the gum. In the flavor profile, I pick up a pretty sweet taste of cola. It also has a light menthol tone to it, and a mild sweetness. The nicotine strength feels about regular, and has a mild delivery. The flavor, on average, lasts about 30-40 minutes. In terms of nicotine pouches, that's about average.
Rating and Final Thoughts
This one rated at 2.83/5 for me. It's not bad, but not amazing. I'd say it's probably about average, if I had to place it. It's got a good cola flavor to it, so I think folks who like cola tastes will enjoy this one. It's nice to see more of these popping up, and I'll always review a cola flavor if I see one!
