Today, we have a special, limited edition Velo product to check out. This one has the flavor of Sweet Papaya! It is a collaboration with McLaren's Formula 1 Racing Team. I found this one on
Snusio, and I've been craving tropical tastes with this warm weather, so it's a great fit! Velo does a great job with
tropical flavors, so I figured this one would be quite nice. The flavor description for this one says "
the tropical sweetness of papaya". Each can weighs in at 14 grams and has 20 pouches. Each pouch weighs 0.7g. The nicotine content is 11.4mg/g in total, or 8mg per pouch. Now, let's pop a can and check this stuff out!
I'm curious to see how this one tastes. One of my favorite Velo's is their Tropical Mango. We'll see how this compares. Opening the can, the aroma is a smooth, sweet, tropical smell. I pick up sweet papaya, a light creaminess, and almost a hint of coconut. The pouch is semi-moist, slim in size, and pretty soft to the touch. It feels good under the lip, as well. The flavor is nice and tropical! It's smooth, and almost creamy in essence. The papaya is mixed with what I think is a taste of coconut, but it's very light. In the nicotine strength, it feels about the regular level. The flavor, on average, lasts about 40-45 minutes. This one isn't a clone of Tropical Mango, to do a comparison. It's a very unique flavor!
Rating and Final Thoughts
This one was pretty tasty! I rated it at 3.58/5. While not a flavor I'd do all the time, I do enjoy these from time to time, or when the weather gets warm. If you like tropical, fruity flavors, I think you'll enjoy this one. It's pretty unique, and has a great quality to it!
