It is so rare nowadays that we in the US get to try limited edition snus products. When I found this one on SwedishProducts.online, I jumped for joy. No lie, after months of reviewing nicotine pouches, it's like coming in from the cold to see an old friend. Today we have the Vårgårda Snuskollektion 2025, made by the folks at Nordic Snus AB in Sweden. They also make Vårgårda Snus, as well as LD Snus. This snus has three flavors in it. But, before we get into all that, let's see what this release is all about!
Inside the box, a little flap tells you some more about this one: "Welcome to Värgårdas Snus Collection 2025, a tribute to the beauty and diversity of nature! The flavors are coordinated to take you on a snus journey to some of Sweden’s most beautiful corners. From the linden trees with their stately birches and the robust character, to the lush forests and summer-sunny gardens".
When you open it up, it opens up almost like a set of stairs, and you'll see the three flavors: Skog, Lund, and Hage. Skog is a flavor they already make, and is inspired by the outdoors. Lund is a city in the province of Skåne in Sweden. From what I read in this article, Hage means ‘enclosed garden’ or ‘pasture’. As far as the contents of each can, it's the standard Vårgårda. Each can is 20 grams, and contains 20 pouches at 1 gram each. The portions are plump, and quite soft, with a nice mouthfeel. The nicotine content is 10mg/g, which sits right at 10mg/pouch. The nicotine strengths all feel to be about the regular strength level, too! Now, let's put them in our lip and see how they taste.

Flavor Description: "A flavor of juniper, lavender and sorrel".
My Review: What's interesting is that this isn't a new flavor. This is already an existing flavor in the Vårgårda series. But, if you haven't read my review on it, I'll do a quick recap. In the aroma, I pick up a smell of spruce, along with hints of juniper and lavender. The taste is really outdoorsy and reminds me of a mix of GR and Lundgren's Norrland. The spruce and juniper pair well together, and the subtle tones of lavender add a nice, floral undertone.
Vårgårda Lund
Flavor Description: "A flavor of birch leaves and burned birch wood".
My Review: Opening the can, this one has a nice, present aroma of wood. In the flavor profile, I pick up a light tobacco presence. The wood notes are also quite present, and are an interesting component of the flavor. I haven't had many that have this flavor before, but I found the birch taste to be an interesting one, but one that fits in a snus portion quite well.
Vårgårda Hage
Flavor Description: "A flavor of herbs, camphor, rosemary and chamomile".
My Review: This one has a really nice aroma to it. I pick up a floral smell, along with hints of rosemary and tea. In the flavor profile, the tobacco base is mild, and earthy. The notes of chamomile and rosemary add an interesting herbal, tea-like flavor to it. I don't pick up much camphor, but I can dig out a very faint cooling tone, which could be what that is. It's an interesting flavor profile, that's for sure. It almost reminds me of the old Vårgårda Blom.
Rating and Final Thoughts
It was really, really nice to review snus again. Not only that, but also a limited edition snus. It's a really nice experience. Skog came out on top, at 3.75/5. That one has the same rating as the regular Skog, because it's the same product. Lund, the birch one, next at 3.58/5. Then Hage, the tea one, at 3.5/5. All three were really nice. Maybe it's because I've reviewed so many nicotine pouches today, but it was nice to end the day with this box set. If you can find it, it's worth the buy!
