Today, another review in the Royal White series! I had some of their
other offerings back in April, but I recently saw this one over on
SnusMe.com so I had to give it a go. I love the
blackcurrant flavor, but sadly not many available today with this flavor. This one is made by Nicobros in Estonia. They also make the
Chapo White brand. When it comes to this one, the flavor description says, "
A sweet and sour taste of blackcurrant". Each can weighs 11 grams, and I count 22 pouches per can. That means each pouch is 0.5g. The nicotine content is 16.5mg/g, so that breaks down to just 8.25mg/pouch. Now, let's crack a can and check this stuff out!
I'm ready to dive into this one, let's see what it's all about! In the aroma, I pick up a nice, mild aroma of black currant. It is a little on the sweeter side, so be prepared for that. The pouch is slim, soft, and moderately moist. It is a brown pouch, but that's due to the flavoring they use. It's still tobacco-free filler. But, with some products you'll find the pouches may change color due to the flavorings they use. It's actually pretty common. In the taste, the blackcurrant is mild, and has a light sweetness to it. It's a pretty well rounded taste. I dig it. The nicotine strength feels to be about the regular level. I find the flavor to last between 30-40 minutes, so about average for a nicotine pouch product.
Rating and Final Thoughts
In the end, this one was quite solid. It was a little on the sweet side, yeah, but not too bad. I gave it a 3.25/5. It's not something I could use every single day or anything like that, but it's something I could use from time to time. This isn't a mega common flavor, so it's one I look for when I crave something unique. If you like fruity tastes, you'll definitely want to check this one out.
