I've been reviewing nicotine pouches all day long today. So, needless to say, I've been looking forward to getting to my snus reviews. In this one, we're checking out Lundgren's Aftonglöd Stark. I've been wanting to try this one for a while, but it's been hard to find. I finally tracked down a can on SwedishProducts.online, so I can finally do a review of it! I had the regular strength version of this one last summer. The name, if you were curious, translates to "evening glow". The flavor description for this one says "A flavor of tobacco and bergamot". Each can weighs 17.6g and has 22 portions, at 0.8g each. The nicotine content sits at 16mg/g, or just 12.8mg/pouch. Putting this one at the Stark level. Let's put in a portion and give it a test!
This is more of a traditional flavor. Other Lundgren's products are more outdoorsy, but this one is very much the classic snus taste. In the aroma, I pick up a slight touch of smoke, a rich tobacco base, some leather, and a touch of bergamot. The portions come in the perforated white type. They have little holes in them to help get the flavor out faster. They can bug my gums if I use them too much, so I take little breaks between cans. In the flavor, it's quite good. After all the super fruity double bubble mega mint nicotine pouches, it's nice to have some tobacco in my face. The taste of tobacco, leather, and smoke sits quite nicely. I do pick up bergamot, but it's not the star of the show. All of these components balance each other out nicely. The nicotine level feels to be a little above regular strength, and I find a flavor longevity of about an hour!

Rating and Final Thoughts
It was really nice to review a real snus today. This one was quite tasty. I love the earth, traditional, classic taste. I rated it at 3.58/5. Everything about this snus is solid. I wish they still made the slim white portions, but I can do the perforated ones here and there. If you like traditional flavors, and are a tobacco lover like me, you'll want to check this one out on your next order!
