Earlier this year, I tried some of the Greatest products. Yes, that's their name. Pretty genius branding. "Why yes, these are the Greatest pouches!" Today, I have two more - Rage Lemonade and Frosty Rage. These are made by a conpany called Premium Pouch, based in Finland. Both of these come in a 12g can, with 20 pouches, at 0.6g each. The pouches are all quite soft, with a decent moisture amount. They feel nice against the gum. The nicotine strength is 16mg/g, which sits right at 9.6mg/pouch with the 0.6g pouches. The nicotine delivery on both of these is decent, and feels a little above the regular strength mark. I also find a decent amount of life with each pouch, lasting up to about 40-45 minutes each. Now, let's see how they taste!
Flavor Description: "A clean, powerful mint hit".
My Review: In the aroma, this one has a pretty clean, clear, sweet aroma of mint. It's fresh, and lightly sweet. Under the lip, a slight burn against the gum, along with a gentle cooling presence. The flavor is minty, and refreshing. It's sweet, and balanced. It is a bit more on the sweeter side, but it's not too overbearing or anything.
Greatest Rage Lemonade
Flavor Description: "A bold and zesty lemon flavor".
My Review: When I opened this one up, I picked up a pretty even balance of mint and citrus. It's slightly tart, and slightly sweet. An interesting blend. Under the lip, a mild cooling presence comes on when you put a pouch in. In the flavor, it is quite minty. I pick up the citrus flavor, which comes across as a tangy lemon character. But it seems to be more minty than citrusy. That's generally an attribute of a lot of EU pouches; most of them are rather minty. It's not bad, though.
Rating and Final Thoughts
These were pretty decent. If you like minty products, you'll dig them. Lemonade came out first at 3/5. Then, Frosty Rage at 2.83/5. I wish the Lemonade was less minty and more focused on the citrus flavor, but it's a common thing with EU pouches. Everything is minty. I'm not sure why, but it's something they do. If you like minty flavors though, you may enjoy these!
