Chapo White Crystal Menthol & Brutal Cold (Nicotine Pouches) - Review. 6 August 2025

I've reviewed a few of the Chapo White products over the years, but haven't got to their mint products just yet.  Probably because there's a billion mint flavors out there, I just don't get that excited about them.  I've had these for a bit but haven't got around to reviewing them just yet.  So, today I'll knock these two out:  Chapo White Crystal Menthol and Chapo White Brutal Cold.  Each can weighs 24 grams and has 30 pouches.  You read that right!  Each pouch weighs 0.8g.  The nicotine content is 16.5mg/g, which sits right at 13.2mg per pouch.  You don't see cans with 30 pouches very often, it's super rare.  Before we do the reviews, let's discuss their commonalities.

Commonalities:
The Pouch - The pouches are slim, moderately moist, and pretty soft.  Both being minty, they'll have a little cooling sensation under the lip.
The Nicotine - These feel to be about the strong level, and have a pretty quick release of nicotine to them.
The Flavor Longevity - The flavors on both of these last about 30-40 minutes, on average.

Now, let's do some reviews!

Chapo White Crystal Menthol

Flavor Description:  "A solid kick of refreshing menthol".

My Thoughts:  Opening up the can, this one is as promised:  menthol.  The aroma is a powerful, cold aroma of menthol.  In the flavor, I notice it to be milder than the aroma.  It's about 50% as present.  It's a pretty straightforward taste of menthol that isn't too mega-sweet.

Chapo White Brutal Cold

Flavor Description:  "A brutally icy cold flavor of mint".

My Thoughts:  And now, the standard mint one.  Opening the can, the aroma is a pretty present smell of mint.  It's lightly sweet, and seems to be perhaps a mint of spearmint and peppermint.  In the flavor, as with the last one, the flavor has way less presence than the aroma.  I get about 50% as much flavor as I got in the aroma.  It's a mix of spearmint and menthol, to my taste buds.  It has a mild sweetness to it, but it's not too overly sweet or anything.

Rating and Final Thoughts

I don't use a lot of mint or menthol products.  In the end, Brutal Cold came in at 2.83/5.  Crystal Menthol after it at 2.67/5.  They're not bad, they're not good, they're not terrible, they're not amazing.  They're about average.  Pretty basic menthol and pretty basic mint.  If this is your sort of thing though, give them a try, you may enjoy them!

I bought these at SnusMe.com.  You can find the Chapo range there!
