I've had some folks ask me to try out the Camo brand, so I decided to grab a can and check it out.
Camo is a brand made by Global Snus, a company out of Lithuania. Despite their website being CamoSnus.com, and their company being called Global Snus, I don't think they actually make any snus. Most of what I've seen is just nicotine pouches. I figured I'd test this flavor first, because it sounded quite good: Camo Cherry Cola Lime! The flavor description for this one says "
Combines the classic taste of cherry cola with a hint of zesty lime", which sounds pretty good to me. Each can weighs 15 grams and has 20 pouches, for 0.75g each. The nicotine content is 16mg/g, which breaks down to 12mg/pouch.
Opening the can, I notice the pouches are quite brown. This is due to the flavorings they use, so don't be alarmed if you see that. It's actually pretty common with a lot of flavored pouches these days. The aroma is a nice balance of cola and cherry, along with a subtle sweetness. I also pick up a little lime in there, too. Under the lip, I get a little burn when I put it in, and a light cooling touch. The flavor is interesting! It's cherry cola, but the lime adds a nice little character to it. It's almost a balance of sweet and tart. The nicotine strength feels to be about the strong level, and kicks pretty quickly. I find about 30-40 minutes of flavor longevity with each pouch!
Rating and Final Thoughts
All in all, this one wasn't too bad. I liked the flavor. It's an interesting mix, but the cherry, cola, and lime pair pretty well together. I rated it at 3.13/5. Not a bad score, because most nicotine pouches are pretty average to me. But, if you like cola flavors, I think you'll enjoy this one!
