Another day, another new brand of nicotine pouches popping up on the US market. It seems like the US market is getting quite saturated with the growing tobacco-free pouch category. Today, we have one to check out called Pillowz. And yes, I know, I'm not the biggest fan of the Zyn-lingo, perhaps it's because I'm old. These are products that are said to be "Remarkably Sour", and each flavor has the word "sour" in front of it. As a lover of sour candies, I found myself to be pretty eager to crack into these and try them out. We have 5 flavors on deck to check out today!
Here you'll see the Pillowz pouches. Each one of these cans weighs 10 grams, and has 20 pouches, weighing in at 0.5g each. I find them to be pretty light in weight, and moderately dry. They have a semi-soft feel to them, as well. The ones I have on hand today are 9mg, but they also make lighter strength ones in 3mg and 6mg. I assume these strengths are mg/pouch, not mg/g. The 9mg ones are nice though, to me they have that regular strength feel, which is more in line with what I personally use and prefer. The flavor presence is nice on these too, with a decent 30-35 minutes of flavor longevity in each pouch. Now, let's do some reviews!

Flavor Description: "a thrilling journey of freshly picked raspberries - a symphony of tartness that harmonizes with the subtle sweetness"
Review: The name is accurate on this one. It has a sour aroma of raspberry. It's also not super sweet. The flavor, not much more to add. It's pretty identical to the aroma. I taste a sour taste of raspberry. It doesn't have much sweetness to it, either.
Pillowz Sour Peach
Flavor Description: "a tantalizing blend of juicy peaches and a zesty twist "
Review: I like the aroma of this one. It's got a nice tangy, tart, slightly sour peach. There's a subtle sweetness to it, as well. In the flavor profile, peach is pretty clear. It's an interesting balance of tangy, tart, and sour. It's not mega sweet, but has a subtle sweet touch to it.
Pillowz Sour Orange
Flavor Description: "invigorating burst of sun-kissed oranges, perfectly balanced with a tangy twist"
Review: This one has a tart, tangy orange aroma to it. It has a slight sweetness to it as well, but not too much. In the flavor profile, it's mostly orange. The orange is tart, tangy, and faintly sweet. It's not super sour, but more tart than anything.
Pillowz Sour Blueberry
Flavor Description: "thrilling fusion of plump blueberries and a burst of sour delight"
Review: This one is pretty straightforward. The aroma is a sweet and sour aroma of blueberry. In the flavor profile, it's mostly blueberry. It's lightly sour, and semi-sweet.
Pillowz Sour Apple
Flavor Description: "the tantalizing sour delight of freshly picked, tangy green apples"
Review: I'm a big fan of green apple, and I notice this one to really capture that essence. This is one of the ones I was more eager to check out in this product range. When I open a can, I pick up that green apple aroma. It has a tart nature to it, along with just a little sweetness. In the flavor, it really has that green apple taste to it. It's tart, slightly tangy, and a little sweet. All in all though, it's pretty well rounded in the flavor profile!
Rating and Final Thoughts
These were pretty solid products. I enjoyed the sour essence that each one had, and the fact that none of them were overbearingly sweet. They are definitely unique compared to what else is on the market. The ratings ranged from 3.08 to 3.25, which puts them in the slightly above average range. For me, Peach and Orange came out on top at 3.25/5, Apple at 3.17/5, and Blueberry / Raspberry both at 3.08/5. If you want to try something different out, I'd definitely suggest these. They are unique compared to everything else out there.
