I've been seeing these XPCT "big cans" and "tubes" online a lot lately, and I've been quite curious to check them out! I was browsing around on
SnusExpress.com the other day and saw that they sold them all, so I order a big box of all of these to try out. These products are pretty interesting, because they save you money by buying in bulk. But also, you aren't wasting a lot of cans since they include one for you to refill. That, in turn, is a good thing for the Earth! So, if you've been curious about these XPCT products, let's check them out! Manufacturer wise, these are made by a company in Sweden called
LIW Innovation.
Here's the big can opened up. These also have a catch lid, and inside the catch lid on top you'll find a single can that you can refill and reuse! Note, this big can will not fit in your pocket. I wear cargo shorts and trust me, I've tried. The flavor description for this one says "
A fruity flavor combination of ripe mango and juicy pineapple". Each can weighs 160 grams, and has 400 pouches for 0.4 grams each. The nicotine content sits at 15mg/g, or 6mg/pouch. This is the same for the tube, as well.
The tube weighs 80 grams and has 200 pouches, for 0.4 grams each. This one has a little twist off on the top, and there is also a bonus can in that compartment that you can fill and re-use, as well!
These pouches are decently moist when they arrive, so I don't add any moisture to them. But they did have some guidance on moisture you can add to them if you want to make them more moist, so I made a quick spreadsheet on how you can do that. Basically, you mist it on, and put it in cold storage for 24 hours.
Now that we've covered all that, let's check out the actual product itself and get to know this one better. I love tropical tastes, to this is the one out of all of them I was the most curious to try out. The aroma is present, and tropical. It seems to be a pretty even mix of mango and pineapple. It's lightly sweet, but not overly sweet. The pouches are slim, and semi-moist. They have a nice feel under the lip. They're a little light in weight, but they don't feel super small or anything. In the flavor, it's a pretty present, tropical tastes. It's lightly sweet, and just a little tart. Like the aroma, it seems to be a pretty even mix of mango and pineapple! In the nicotine department, this one feels about regular, maybe just a little lighter. The flavor hangs out about 35-40 minutes on average.
Rating and Final Thoughts
This one was pretty good! I enjoyed the tropical flavor of it, and rated it at 3.33/5. Out of all of them, this is the one that has the best taste to it. Also, it saves money! The big can costs $39.50, or $0.09 per pouch. This means only $1.98 per can. The tube costs $26.90, or $0.13 per pouch. This means only $2.69 per can. If you want to save cost, the big can is the way to go. Or, you can grab the tube if you want to just check out the flavor, it's still pretty cheap!
