XQS Hallon Soda (Nicotine Pouches) - Review. 1 February 2024.

The folks at XQS in Sweden have released another flavor in their XQS Nicotine Pouches line, this one with an interesting flavor that blends raspberry and cola.  That's something I've never seen before so I found myself curious to check it out!  The cola flavor is growing a lot in snus and nicotine pouches, so it's neat to see companies getting a little more experimental with this flavor profile.  The flavor description for this one says, "taste of raspberry soda".  Each can weighs in at 10 grams and has 20 pouches, for 0.5g each.  The nicotine content sits at 8mg/pouch.  Doing a little backward math that means the total is 16mg/g.  But, the only thing that matters is the nicotine per pouch because that's how much you'll experience when you use this product.

So, open yourself an ice cold cola, kick back, and let's check out this nicotine pouch!  Opening the can, I pick up a pretty present aroma!  It seems to be an even mix of sweet cola and a hint of fruity raspberry.  It's a pretty nice smell.  The pouch is soft, moderately moist, and slim.  It is lighter in weight, at 0.5g each, so you'll notice it to feel kinda light in the lip.  The flavor profile though, it's nice.  The mix of sweet cola and sweet raspberry is pretty nice.  It's a little sweeter than most out there, though, so be prepared for it to be on the sweeter side.  The nicotine strength feels about regular-ish, maybe just a little above regular but not quite strong.  The flavor hangs out a good 30-40 minutes, on average.

Rating and Final Thoughts

I gave this one a 3.29/5.  It's pretty tasty, but a little on the sweeter side.  Honestly, my only complaint about XQS is the pouch weight.  If they would push their pouches to 0.7g (at least), they would be some of the best products on the market.  The pouch being so light kinda takes away from it, but that's really my only complain about this brand.  I just like a more plump pouch, personally.  Back to the review, if you like cola, you'll want to check this out.  It's a pretty tasty pouch!
