ZoneX Southern Storm (Nicotine Pouches) - Review. 26 May 2023.

Today, we're going to be checking out a nicotine pouch product from Skruf in their popular ZoneX series!  This is ZoneX Southern Storm, a nicotine pouch with a peach tea flavor!  I recently grabbed a can of this and have been looking forward to testing it.  In the pic here you can see I paired it with a nice glass of peach iced tea and it's proven to be quite the summertime pairing!  The flavor description for this one, from the side of the can, says "Peach ice tea".  Pretty self explanatory.  Each can weighs 15.4 grams and has 24 portions for 0.64g each.  The nicotine content is 16mg/g (1.6%), which puts it at 10.24mg/portion.  So, let's check this one out and see what it tastes like!

Opening the can, the aroma of peach comes through clearly.  It's lightly sweet and accompanied by gentle hints of what reminds me of black tea.  The pouches are slim, with a moderate moisture amount.  They are pretty soft, and have a nice mouthfeel.  The flavor?  Well, it's peach iced tea.  It's not "icy", but it does taste like peach and tea.  The peach flavor is gentle, with a little sweetness to it.  The tea flavor sits nicely in the background, and compliments the peach well.  The nicotine on this one feels about regular, maybe just a hair above.  I find the flavor hangs out a good 35-40 minutes on average.  On the pairing notes, this one goes quite well with a glass of peach iced tea.  If you can, definitely mix one up and enjoy.  I like to buy the little dry packets and mix with a bottle of water.  Crystal Light makes a tasty one.

Rating and Final Thoughts

This was a pretty good little pouch!  It seems like there isn't much innovation in the nicotine pouch realm and most products are mint, or fruit.  So, it's cool seeing something a little different out there.  As someone who lives in the south, peach tea is a huge thing here where I live.  So, I found this one to really hit the flavor notes just right.  I gave this one a 3.17/5.  If you're looking for something different, I'd definitely suggest giving this one a go!
